Okay so while looking for the original song to listen to for reference I came across two versions, one at a slower BPM and one at a faster. I went around for a long time trying to figure out which one was the 'official' one but I ended up liking the faster one more so if it's wrong then well

Omg Sonic has Konata's face. Guess he procrastinates on getting the Chaos Emeralds. That explains the bad endings.
This tune is pretty sweet. I didn't play Sonic Chaos but i went ahead and listened to the original track and i have to say, i hope someone remakes this game and uses this remix or something similar. This first half of the tune reminds me of Studiopolis Zone, but the second one reminds me of something you'd hear in Sonic Before/After the Sequel, and then back to Studiopolis.
But it definitely sounds like an official remix that you'd hear in a game. I hope one day SEGA would hire you to work on music along with Tee Lopes and Falk. That'd be godly.
