Building has already started, plus you got this video out just a tad too early, as Gary Sweet has confirmed that yet another application is going through to increase the starting capacity to 25,000.
If Luton can build this stadium and remain debt free, or at least minimum debt , they have PL money for this, then the future for Luton Town FC looks rosey
Luton have ring fenced the PL money and parachute money so that the Stadium will get built without the need of taking any loans etc. Stadium is costing 120m and will be 25,000 seater with possibility to expand in the future.
1200 flats still. so loads of ppl that don't like footy or even ltfc will be living there. all these new grounds with flats nearby are never affordable for the fans who help pay the club. 100 years ago you had terraced houses built right up to the grounds. proper community spirit. now, stadiums are miles out of town and physically disconnected from the ppl. lucky for ltfc the new place is in the city centre
I don't know... I'm surprised with the location. It's in a very tight space. They should have just taken all of Stockwood park and turned that into a football stadium and shopping area. Perfect motorway connections. I'm not sold on the Power Court location.
Luton didn't want another out of new stadium. This is going to be right next to the train station, bus station and bus way that can get buses on rails from Dunstable to Luton in no time. Also right in the centre for restaurants, pubs cafes. Out of town grounds are horrible. Sorry coventry, Colchester, Shrewsbury, chester ,Barnet and Brighton.

I may have to do a part 2! That will be interesting to see if it goes through.
Informative and to the point. Well done.
Hey! Wait! You won't have to go through somebody's back garden to get into the stadium?! 🤣
Nope, you will just have to swim across a moat!

True, it will be interesting to see how much of an impact it has.
Getting promoted was the most incredible thing to happen, it’s set us up for many many years
