Great fiddle lead featuring tune "Shortnin' Bread" by Anissa Burnett from Boone, North Carolina and the ETSU Old Time Ramblers.
I have always admired the the talent and professionalism of Anissa and Kathleen Burnett on the fiddle and most other stringed instruments since they first performed five years ago at the the 2014 Johnson County Old Time Fiddlers Convention in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee. They are veterans of the Watauga County JAM in Boone, North Carolina and much credit for their music upbringing goes to Cecil Gurganus, one the mentors for many in that JAM organization. Cecil is one of the five musicians along with Anissa and Kathleen in the popular regional old time string band, "Strictly Strings".
