I did set my damage record in this, on Himmelsdorf, where I just brawled with it. The speed and reload time are a highlight, the view-range makes you think you can snipe, but the gun will soon tell you that you can't!
My biggest problem with this tank is the side armor, its only 50mm thick meaning you cant even try to side scrape against 152mm guns. Not only that, but the side armor that slopes up to the roof is only 40mm, so 122mm is also difficult.
I realy fall in love in HoRi-3, i using vents rammer and experimental turbo, when you unlock all field mods this tank become a much better, I hope you will make video about it again when you unlock fieldmods :D much love for you Max, keep up good work mate :"D
It's a DPM Jagdpanzer E 100, can't just sit there and take it to the face, you gotta fire, and do weird wiggle crap and hope something works. They honestly should have given it 320-330mm super structure but whatever. I'm currently enjoying it because I can do damage reasonably quicker than JgPzE100 without having to wait 20 second and be slow af. Currently running Hardening, Rammer and Experimental Mobilty T3 for brawling loadout | Rammer, Improved Aiming Unit and Experimental Mobility Suite T3 for when I need to be accurate and snipe. I feel the Experimental Mobility Suite T3 is essential for this tank, turbo just never feels quite enough, having the better turning and dispersion reduction at the same time as being faster is just purely ... ESSENTIAL for this tank to feel comfortable to use. Sitting still or being too passive makes this tank fall apart. It is at its best, at least when I play it, when I'm constantly firing, changing the angle, firing again and then changing where I am again. There's no sure-fire way to get a 330+ HEAT round to bounce but being really weird about how you move has some nice chances to bounce, even 420 Jagd heat As always, everything is better with field mods, hope you make another video when you have it fully kitted out like you did with the Grille 15!
For the battle on Prok the Grille 15 would have made minced meat out of the enemy team with its .22 accuracy. Just joking lol! But I have to admit that with Dez’s setup: bond rammer, bond IAD, bond GLD and a GLD directive I am hitting more shots than ever before. Oh, and of course with all the field mods unlocked…
I think this is the best new line of the last couple of years. Better than the British wheeled mediums, better than the Chinese rockets, better than the American Yoh's, and better than the Italian td's. As always there are just some tanks you either "click" with, or don't.
Just a question Why would you use/recommend turbo on jagpzE100 But you say use/recommend no turbo on VK72 reward? They are both huge, slow tanks highly reliant on trade/alpha corridor gameplay. lts just a tad confusing isnt it? l would just go for Exp Turbo T3, as it buffs gun handling too. Like your content. Keep up the good work.
Its bizzare how this tan works for some people, but others hate it. I'm grinding field mods for it and had 3 5k games in a row today. Averaging 3.2k even without the mods and a mediocre crew. It just works! Must admit its a bit of a weird playstyle, not frontline and not sniper. Maybe im just getting lucky because even at longer range I'm pleasantly surprised how often it hits and pens, the gold rounds go in even when i'm sure they'll bounce.
Dakilzor made a video about hori 3 how is playing .He play very aggresive in heavy line allways and had a blast....so i said lets get hori 3 and play like this .New i am at tier 9 and i play in the heavy line allways and i dont have the last engine and last gun but i play fot 2.4k dmg the armor is the same like hori 3 but surprising for me the results are more than the onether td. ok maybe strv tier 10 i have more dmg but i liked and its fun. For me its important the tank to be fun and mobile and gun behave good. by the way i love your content
I really wish the superstructure was sloped. I got it, and then I immediately disliked it because the flat superstructure is so trash. i cant play it and have fun

BTW about this tank i kinda started to like it but only when i researched all field mods w/o field mods even with best equip and crew it's one big poop TD... When they came out i was thinking oh wow it's gonna be 268/4 just Japanese and in my first battle i blocked 0000 damage vs tier IX-VIII... 😤
But the gun is 10x better than the v4 and it's WAAAY more agile. It turns like a medium and the upper plate is an auto bounce for ap/apcr even with just slight angle

JPZ benefits from the reverse speed a lot. The VK72, not so much.

Its nimble. If it had turret, it would have been OP. Hori is an Fv4005 like a Jdpze100 is to an Fv183

On the first match max you should have aimed better, you'd get good rng that way.
