You should have added heat shrink to those soldered connections :)
Great video!
Amazing. No mention of the type screw driver to use. That appears to be specialized. LONG and a STAR bit of some type? The actual replacement process is great but does everyone just KNOW what to use to unscrew those case screws?
B.
T-10 security bit did it for me. getting that back cap off, however, still working on it
My drill is sparking would that mean it needs a new brush card?
Very helpful. Thanks and God bless :)
I guess Im kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released series online ?
@Case Joe I use Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
@Braden Jefferson definitely, have been using FlixZone for since march myself :D
@Braden Jefferson thanks, signed up and it seems to work =) Appreciate it!!
@Case Joe Happy to help xD
So m18 drill, pull the trigger and led light comes on but no action. Is that what was going on with this one? Or what were signs of issue?
Same symptom I got for mine, apply a pressure to the rear cover (where brush card is) and press the trigger, your drill might work, if yes, try to tighten the 4 screws.
@@shihanjian5379 mine only works when the back cover is slightly unscrewed. If it's on too tight it doesn't work.
My ones got a totally dead trigger
Hi! Thanks for post this, I will do it but I have a question what's the power of the solderer to weld and unweld the wires? Cause I'm trying with my own and I couldn't. thanks!
alot of the time if you add freash solder to it it will help with the desoldering
Luciano Stumpo clean your solder gun tip and try again
Where I can find the part ? Brush card?? I need exactly the same
i live in Viet Nam my after 2 weeks hammer drill MIlwaukee M18 2702 - Brushless smoke and death please hepl me thanks
Hi, even though the Electronics Assembly may look okay, I still think that the problems you have are coming from it. It is part number 14-20-0037. That is really the only part that smoke would come from on this drill.
Repairing a Milwaukee with a makita.....🤦♂️
Comments by a person who can't spell
Chris Kellokoski Just because I didn’t capitalize the M? Did that hurt your feelings? Flashbacks of how your last name has never been spelled correct or what?
Also Mr. English Major Dumass, it would have been “a comment” not “comments”....... 🤦♂️
So did it work ?????
every soldered good and on volume light good but drill dont wodk
Hahahaha😂using a Makita to fix a milwaukee 🤣
he re-soldered the brush card when it has two screws and could just screw it in... amazing...
Sadlave MCMXC there are two types of brush card, one type has screws on the card as you saw, but replacements types don’t. No offence but don’t be quick to judge.
@@grahamp2270 oh you are right, I was changing mine and assumed it vas thesame. Mine was with screws.
