How to Create and Manage Automations

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Automations:
Navigate to the Project Section:
Open your project and click on the "Automations" tab.
Set Up Task Status Change Automation:
Select the template "When Status Changes."
Choose the initial status (e.g., "Open") and the new status (e.g., "In Progress").
Assign a new person automatically when the status changes.
Hit "Save" to create the automation.
Example: If Michael is the initial assignee and the task status changes from "Open" to "In Progress," the assignee will automatically change to Jack.
Create Task Assignment Automation:
Go to the "Browse" section and select "Automations."
Choose "When a Task is Created" and set it to assign to a specific person (e.g., Michael).
Hit "Save" to activate the automation.
Set Task Priority Automation:
Select "When a New Task is Created" and set the priority to "Low."
Save the automation to automatically set new tasks to low priority and assign them to the designated person.
Managing Automations:
Edit or Delete Automations:
Access the "Automations" tab to view all active automations.
Click "Edit" to modify, or "Delete" to remove any automation.
Deactivate Automations Temporarily:
Deactivate any automation from the active list to move it to the inactive section.
You can reactivate it later if needed.
