I am just curious as to how well the adhesive holds that light pod in place, over an extended period of time. I live in an area where the temperatures drop below freezing for most of the winter, I just don't want this pod flying off while driving down the highway.

If the Light Pod is installed by a professional as we recommend, following the proper procedures in this video we would not see a reason for failure. We have sold many of these across the U.S. and Europe with no issues but we can always advise on extra steps to take when purchased through ourselves.

What about a switch to turn them on...?

At the moment these are supplied with the bluetooth remote button. We are currently working on a couple of switch ideas to integrate into the Defender.

We would always advise our customers to drive within the posted speed limit for the road they are driving and the country they live in. However, these have undergone extensive testing with no issues if fitted correctly.

The adhesive won't last long, few washes, weather, dirt and finally aerodynamic wind will blew it off

These are a very popular product for us. We have had one fitted to our test vehicle for over 2 years now with no issues or signs of deterioration to the tape and sealer. If fitted correctly these will last the extent of the vehicles life.
