I have one, the blue version, (MW-240-2B). it's about 3 years old with its original battery still working. Surprisingly it just about hits all the indices (no problem at all). Very easy to read even in low light. It looses 0.8 seconds a month. That equates to 10 seconds a year. I use it just about every day, for work (pick packing), taken it swimming (salt water pool), lawn mowing and at times subjected it to hard impacts while on the wrist such as hammering and even dropped it a few times (survived all). It has a few scratches, most of them are easily buffed out with toothpaste. I wash it often with soap and water, no problem at all. Would recommend.
@@beluga2857 Depends how rough you are and how precious you will be over scratches. Its no Gshock but like most Casios it pretty tough - my concern would be that large face getting scrathed.
@@Tim2pointoh those will definitely scratch, I just want it to be water proof and, I forget that I'm wearing a watch so the thing that happens, I unknowingly scratch it up on the walls.
I got mq24 for £8 from argos. Amazing little watch. One of my faves. Simple. Light. Thin . Now got 9 casio.s. I thought all these style were same size but now I know! Cheers
Oh good god no! This and the much loved MRW200H only hit about half. Some they bisect completely and you’ve no idea which second it’s supposed to be on. I’m not sure it bothers me as I don’t use these kind of watches for accurate timing or anything, just hours and minutes. I’m no expert, but would you expect them to for under £20?
@@Tim2pointoh Don't know if one should expect them to, though it'd probably be nice. My justification for getting this watch is that it reminds me of a plastic Swatch I had way back in the eighties and that one never hit any indices either. So the experience will be more authentic hahaha. Anyway, should I need to time something, I wouldn't use this, my digitals would be better for that.

"My wife doesn't know that I bought another watch." That explains the unboxing taking place in the middle of the forest. Classic.
Just having some fun with unboxing 😂😂😂

is there any radium in the needles?

There is in the hands, but not in the indices.
A no nonsense unboxing video. Straight to the point. Good one mate.
I think some unboxing vidoes are hilariously unneccessary
@@Tim2pointoh is this watch good for ruff use? And I want it to last like long term.

I have the MQ24 also - very small and light. I'll be doing a video on that soon.
Best watch and review I’ve seen yet…..:)
I had some fun with this
Great video, I'm typically not a fan of these kind of watches but my wrist is thin and see a man like you wearing this watch gives me confidence.
"a man like you" well I think I'm honoured LOL
This is actually quite a large watch so its does look ok on larger wrists
Great video review, my friend. I think I saw your wife behind one of the trees. LOL
No way! LOL
all quartz should have de EOL system, very annoying when the battery dies in the field. Best regards from Brazil, Mário.
Going to get myself one soon. But will probably get the green one. Does yours hit all the indices?

For a minute, I thought I was listening to Ricky Gervais :)

quite unusual unboxing video, but contains everything one needs to know. My sort of fun so I leave a "Thumbs up" and "Subscribe" here 😄
