i really hate the fast fwd animation totally ruins the pay off for combo decks. why can’t it be just an actual fast forward? like play the animations out at 3x speed so at least we can still track what is going on. there are times when it’s sped through animations that have lost me the game because i didn’t realise a certain card was discarded etc. aside from that it just feels AWFUL as a player to see, it’s too fast, kicks in too quick and doesn’t show what happened. needs fixing yesterday
That would be possible if all devices were the same. Unfortunately, apps are made to work well on a multitude of deuces with varying degrees of processing power.

6:04 I just bought Miek with tokens after buying Proxima Midnight with tokens so I could add to my discard deck with Scorn. I've heard people say Miek was great like a mini Morbius that could also move to different locations but im not sure but at least I finally have him for my discard collection now.
I've had Proxima pinned for weeks now. I've been playing Snap since launch but don't play discard much and hardly ever with Hella (I loathe her lol). Scorn is the type of card that makes me excited to play a more traditional style discard though. May bite the bullet and just get Proxima with tokens since she's maybe the only card that I'm missing in my collection that I care to have rn.
Got really lucky and got Scorn with my only key. Super excited to try her out, Discard has been my go to deck all the way since I started to play Snap.
That's true, but I will say that Hulkling isn't the most recent card that flopped. I'd make an argument that Scarlet Spider really underperformed in the meta.

I pulled the trigger since I didn't have Shaw either. It kinda messes up my plans for Fenris Wolf in the long run. Hoping I can somehow get enough keys for the Fenris week. I'm still running Collector, I think he scales a lot with 3 discard targets. It's the 3 drops that need to be decided (as well as Hell Cow).

Why does it fast forward that but it never fast forwards the Odin affects in a Silver Surfer deck?! I've played a ton of Wong, Mystique, Rescue/Surfer and then Odin and it NEVER fast forwards, but it does with Modok randomly. It's so weird

I'm confused what Alex means by Scorn power-creeping on Miek. Aside from both being 1-cost cards, they play completely different roles. Miek is played ASAP, preferably on Turn 1, when Discard has nothing else there except Blade which can rarely play on Turn 1. Scorn on the other hand is like Apocalypse - never meant to be played on the board, except possibly on Turn 6. The 2 cards fulfill different purposes and have basically nothing in common. Miek for example is mobile which is a huge ability to have in Snap for many different reasons.
Everything You said is true. You are right in every sentence of Your analysis. But. Snap has only 12 card decks. Scorn puts more power on the board, than Miek. The question is: Do You want to run three 1-costs in Your Discard deck. And what do You cut? You can cut Strong Guy, Corvus or Gambit, with each having pros and cons. But You need to remember, Snap is a game of probability. You create decks, to give You most consistent results in a situation, where You don’t have access to all of Your cards. Sometimes switching one card gives really surprising results. His version worked and he didn’t felt the need for Miek. Alex meant, that both cards are kind of competing for the same card slot. Miek is more like Collector, but he’s a 1-cost. So, if You don’t play him on turn 1, he gets in the way of Scorn - he’s a target for Coleen and Sword Master. With all that said, I can’t wait to try Miek in this deck, as soon as I’ll get him. I agree, that ability to move is very strong.
Because Miek's role sucks and gets less power for the same commitment? So Scorn is a strictly better and power creeped version of it and Apoc. You can argue however you want that it's different cause one you play and the other you don't but we all know which is better and gets you way more stats for the same point.

Discard has been top tier this entire time. People just got in their heads that it wasn't because of Chavez Also, Toxin is going to be used outside of Bounce. Toxin will also be used in Hawk decks, likely just replacing Misery
Lady sif is always good for discarding apocalypse, wolverine can be a lesser version of Proxima. You could try x-23 but I’m not sure if the payoff is worth it though
Imo, that's somewhat tricky. Proxima is by far the easier to replace of the two. She has a fairly easy replacement in Swarm. As for Corvus... that's a bit tricker to substitute out I think. The only even costed cards I see are Colleen Wing, Proxima/Swarm, Dracula, and Apoc, so you could maybe try Moon Knight? Alternatively, you could try Grandmaster to double up on one of your cheaper discard enablers or something.
Yeah, I think it's pretty easy to See that this Card is crazy. Do Not know what they were thinking. Even putting both+2s to+1s would still be great. Just having another option next to apoc and swarm that you can discard forever is insane for discard.

I got to infinite last season using Jean in Spectrum decks to punish Hela decks. You just got to know when she is advantageous, but I will say War Machine was a good boon for the card and deck.
