HARLEY BENTON HB35Plus A BRIDGE MOD TOO FAR?

This is my HB35Plus into my Cuvave Cube Baby throug the Flamma FA05 amp. Mic'd with Behringer XM8500 into UM2. The backing track is provided by the Guitar Jam All Styles App.

If you have a standard BM 003 roller bridge it should have fit because I put one on my guitar. That is the standard metric size

Hi Cal, maybe things like this happen for a reason, your HB 35 always sounds good (not that a bridge would change that a lot) and if you like the way it plays sometimes it's better not to fix what ain't broke.

@@Reeldin58 I was hoping to improve it that little bit. As it is, it feels new again. My Jazzmaster clone might be the next candidate. Same bridge size, but no arch to angle posts into a slightly different size.

Hi Cal, the arch of the guitar angling the posts slightly is something that I never would have thought about, but I suppose it must make a difference.

Hmmm strange that didn't fit. Those TOM bridges are all pretty standard size wise. I swapped out the one on my 333 with no issues at all. Wonder if the bridge specs are different on your guitar? And if TOM bridges come in different sizes?🤔

@@j-man9457 I think it was how the posts were originally installed. It's off by a bit and I don't have anything to very slightly widen one post hole to make it fit. My JA60CC has the same bridge on a flat surface, so it will go on that. Another small mod project and guitar clean up!
