Is there a huge disparity between the ranks of General vs OBC. Like , for ex. , a person with a very low rank get a seat in OBC whereas an other guy with a far more better rank in general category doesn't get one.
Also what is a safe rank for BFTECH (general) to get into the top campuses. (Atleast Bangalore, Chennai, hyd.)
Pls help me with it !!!

Well in some cases it could be.A certain fraction of seats are reserved for each category which are obviously filled by top rank holders in respective reserved category.
Safe rank for bftech top campuses general would be anything less than 110.
You can refer seat Matrix and previous year cutoffs from NIFT official website to get better idea🙌
