I think you can thrift flip the champagne dress and make something amazing out of it. It has potential. Also, going in to mom mode here - make sure the coffee pot is food safe before adding hot tea.

I lovee the champagne dress! Try a square neckline with thin straps to make it vintage 90’s vibes and hahahaha definitely try to lower the pits because WHO WOULD THAT FIT PROPERLY 😂🤦🏻♀️
You could totally use some ceramic/China glue on the chipped cup to seal/smooth it out so it’s not sharp, and then use it for straws or a stirring spoon or something. Also if you brew tea in the cup you can use that part to hang the teabag string from. Just an idea. C:

I was recommended your video cause I watch other thrifters. You're one of my favorite youtube thrifters so far! You have a fun personality but aren't over-doing it like a Disney character. The white fuzzy sweater was very cute.
The neckline and armholes are definitely unflattering on the dress I think they both just need to be cut a bit lower. Could be an easy alteration.

That last dress looks like it could fit great if you cut the top of the straps and then added some material. The darts are way too high, that’s why it looks so boxy. Lengthen the straps to lower the darts and it would be way more flattering.

Love Tru Earth, been using for a couple years. Cleans beautifully, minimizes waste and I love their sustainable practices. I don't like myself in slip dresses, too shapeless. The color is lovely though & someone would like it. You remain my fave thrift diva on UA-cam.

Adding to the other comments about flipping the dress...turn it into a halter. That'll lower the bust line and make it more flattering!
So….I loved the champagne-colored dress! Were it mine, I’d slit the shoulder straps (fold over and stitch the 4 ends to make casings), and insert fabric or a double row of chains, or lace or pearls or maybe find a thrifted necklace of champagne or clear beads to add a few inches to the straps.
I’m a cardigan freak so a beaded evening cardigan and three dainty necklaces (I saw sets at Target) would give it an old Hollywood vibe. Retro hairdo.
Or, add a vintage band tee under it and add a denim jacket.
Or, wear a shawl with champagne in it.
Brown would be stunning….faux fur shrug?

I don’t think the dress favors you well as it is, however I think it would look perfect as a lining for a lace or loose knit dress. You could alter the top part of it to fit better.

Maybe you could do a thrift flip on the dress? Loving the idea of opening the back up and maybe making it a cowl neckline to be more flattering?
The dress is very nice but needs some kind of gold trim or lace trim added to neckline . Go to a store maybe Walmart or Joanns fabric - if u have one in Canada ! A brocade trim along the neckline spice it up . The fit is not bad just needs necklace or pearls . Definitely take it with you when u shop for trim. I have made many dresses and the same pattern and trim is the way to. Go !😍😍🌻🌻you are a wiz at style! Would like to see the reaults
You could layer the dress with a nice white or cream sweater over it.

The dress has heaps of potential. You could fix the arm hols and darts. You could also maybe make the straps thinner and lower the v neck line a little. it's a lovely colour. I hope you have another look at it and don't give up on it
With your amazing sewing skills you can fix that dress with spaghetti straps on it or something and make it look wonderful♥️♥️♥️
you can use oven bake clay to make a piece that would fit in the chip of the cup then superglue it :)

Yes! An advantage to not being so big on top is the stylish look of the very deep V
I use the eco stripes and swear by them. I shelp my laundry downstairs to a laundry room so it is nice not to have to struggle with heavy, non biodegradable liquid soap.
