So the question is....How did Slim end up owning the name "112" if there were 4 group members? Did he not discuss trademarking the name with the others before doing so?
I used to follow them all of Instagram. When they finally came back together to do another album, Daron cared more about pushing his solo career. He was giving away tickets to his shows if you did a video singing one of his songs. He was showing favoritism to certain fans too. Q started to get into acting and a lil bit of "ministry". Michael and Slim were the main two who kept trying to give 112. They were spilling all of the tea back in 2019 on IG. I know at one point, even Jagged Edge was asking them to not do all of that in public.
@@TheeAntisocialXxtrovert I think Slim and Mike was trying to sabotage Daron and Q’s career and ruin their reputation with fans. I also think if group members go out their way to do something that shady to other members that you have known for years since childhood, then why would anyone trust people like that again? From what I heard it wasn’t just the trademark thing that caused their beef. It was also the fact that Slim’s management was doing something funny with their money. Daron and Q caught what was going on. Not only Slim was going behind their backs to steal the trademark but he was taking their money too.. I think he got greedy and that’s a shame. 112 is my favorite group. I would love to see them back together, but after I heard what went down behind the scenes, I don’t blame Daron and Q for wanting to stay solo. They are humble and sweet unlike the other two. I don’t know what happened to Slim and Mike. They have become cocky and arrogant and they didn’t use to be like that.
@@ShawnyK8 I heard that Daron was stealing publishing royalties from the other members of 112. I remember reading about this a few years ago. It's so hard to keep up with who did what. I just wish they would get it together because I do not like to new, remixed 112.
@@MsKim510 I think Slim and Mike have been lying a lot about things and trying to place blame on the other two to cover up what they are doing.. Granted, I’m pretty sure all of the guys have done some things to each other over the years but I think there has been some jealousy among members. I can’t understand why because all of the guys are so talented in their own way. Everybody love them equally. But I have been noticing how shady the two have became. By being a fan for years, we may know certain things about the group. We may read things but we don’t actually know the details of things. All I know is this for years, I have heard all about how all of the guys are so nice and down to earth with their fans. It’s one of the reasons why I love 112 besides their talent. Their humble attitude and grounded personality. What I saw in them, I didn’t see in other groups or in any other artists for that matter. . I don’t think they know how special they are and this is what disappointed me as a supporter. It’s understandable for a group to part ways because of differences. But I mean sometimes members grow apart anyway. It’s not the fact that they broke up, it’s how they broke up. It’s some members acting brand new with their fans acting nasty and cocky for no reason being rude to folks. I’m not talking about Daron and Q.. All of these years, the guys have been cool but in recent years, the other two have been very shady. They don’t even communicate with their fans like they need to build a rapport with them.. I really do think it’s some jealousy involved with Slim and Mike towards Daron and Q because they seem to be branching out more than the other two. Daron is a producer. He produces for different artists. He has his own production company. He is always working on new music. It’s on Spotify and other platforms. Q has his thing going on with acting and other things. Daron has been very transparent with his fans, he follows them and interact with them. A poster said he shows certain fans favoritism over others. That’s not true. If you follow him, he will follow back and interact with you and include you in things like performances. He is very appreciative to his fans unlike other artists that I seen. Most of them barely talk to the people who support them. Sometimes members want to branch out and go solo and there’s nothing wrong with that.. That can give fans a opportunity to see each member do their thing. With 112, I think it’s hard for us to see them separate because to us, they are better together than apart but we have to respect their right to be individuals. This is what I think happened with the group. They never went anywhere. Some members just started working on individual entertainment projects. Everybody is still on social media. They are still doing shows and all of that. I caught Slim in a lie when I was commenting on his Instagram about the break up. I told him I remember that they broke up a couple times and got back together because I remember reading about them breaking up on and off years ago. But he just lied and told me that they didn’t and then he got smart with me when I mentioned something about their titles and their copyright situation. He was like that with others and it kinda caught me off guard because I never known none of the guys act that way towards people especially fans. So that right there just let me know that he was being defensive about something.. I was thinking from that point on I made a decision to not support Slim and Mike in their 112 new setup. Not when they are talking sideways to their fans and disrespecting them and lying to them about what went down. They were trying to put everything on Daron and Q like they were innocent but that’s not what I heard. I love 112 but Slim was being out of pocket. I don’t know what happened to him. It's unfortunate they are split...112 was always consistent with good music. So many good songs weren't released. they had some of the best interludes too. anyway cant wait to see them and Jagged edge later this month
I know that was a dope concert 112 and jagged edge I have seen 112 at the bad boy reunion tour it was dope they did there thang 🙌🏾
Another great video. I was always big fans of 112. They made such great music 💕
Can you do one of Tevin Campbell?
Yes, Tevin is one of my fav. artists 🎨 Thank you.
Their songs and videos are like a time capsule transporting you back to another place and time in your life.
The New EP is 🔥... They still sound amazing
On of my favorite R&B groups. Still listen to their music. Instant love at first listening
Omggg yesss I’ve been asking for this! thank you for this video 💗💕
I LOVE 112! ALWAYS HAVE! STILL LISTEN TO THEIR FIRST 3 ALBUMS REGULARLY !😍😍😍
112 was the soundtrack to my teenage life! They were everywhere! And omg Cupid is hands down one of my favourite slow jams ever. It's crazy how such a big group with so many hit songs just disappeared like that tho!
I love 112! The versuz was a hot mess and Diddy ruins every artist that he touches 🤦🏿♀️ Great video 👍🏿
I loved 🥰 “Only You” both versions
They were on jodeci's level! The song "this is your day" was written and produced by Al B Sure & Kyle West.
Girl that song is the shit!!!🔥😭 Alot of people don't know! Smh
Loved 112... Still do... Very unfortunate about the fallout, and hopefully they'll all see the light before it's too late...
Also, this is the first video I've watched from this channel... I love the content and I definitely subscribed!!!
Respect and love...
I absolutely loved 112 as a singing group. I hate they broke up. Dang
Slim came and performed at one of our events last year and he still can sing! He sounded great and was very humble and professional.
I absolutely love them. They have always been my go to. Like Missy Elliott's Hot Boyz or Tevin Campbell's Alone.🥰
I always think of 112 and play their music when I want to listen to music.
All of their songs are amazing. I really miss this group.😔💝
WQRL- I was side-eyeing that name too. Sounded like a radio station. 🤣🤷🏾♀️
It’s the S.L.I.M 🤣 gosh I use to love me some 112 I would stay playing their second album 💿 from start to finish
They definitely had some hits would love to see a Verzuz with 112
They already did the versuz with jagged edge
@@leaundragates2965 oops 😬 thanks im gonna see if I can find the footage of it
The mark of bad boy ( Diddy) he messed up just about all his artists. If it wasn’t for usher Raymond mom getting usher out under bad boy he would have messed him up. He had usher going to Wild parties and he wasn’t of age Diddy is wicked Diddy stole from these people I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️ any of theses groups did anything he even had female groups total, danity Kane, making da band, Day 26, these artist where really good nortorius big, I guess Diddy said all mine he has that greed sprit. I think 🤔 a few of his artist made it ok
I have seen 112 perform 3 times before in Philly on different occasions. Each time they were great no lip syncing and still have the moves 🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽 #112
112 collaborated with so many artists like Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G., Mase, Lil Zane, Allure, etc.!
Your delivery on these is absolutely golden 😂 immediate sub
Love them. They’ve been performing at a concert a couple years ago here in Germany (kings of rnb i think) and before that, they’ve been at the spa I was working at. I got to massage Q and he came back the next day after the concert. He was super nice. He was a great client - not only because I had a fan moment ✨
His wife and her twin sister own and operate a nail salon named TuLa2 in Atlanta. I took my mother there a couple years ago as a late birthday present, and man…I want to go back the next time I’m in town. If you’re ever in Atlanta, check it out!
Happy I found this channel
Darron is fine!
Your channel is so addictive can you do one of pixie lott
Boy, how this story hits now.. The Diddler
When the words "What happened to" is associated with 90s artists...... the answer usually involves Bad Boy.
Girl, all you had to say is Diddy/Puffy/Puff Daddy/P.Diddy/Brother Love
This was my fav R&B group of all time...
Definitely need to do 3rd Storee/Chapter 4 next
So underrated, they have a crazy catalog
Can we please get a whatever happened to:

Lets add Imajin and the other members of Mista. We know about Bobby V, but what about the others?
Also, do you remember Subway? Where they at?
@@eyebrowstj
I haven't heard a Mista song in yeeears!
I remember when Subway did a song with 702. I wondered what happened to Subway as well.
Add Mona Lisa to that list! She was supposed to be the next Brandy. She had and Incredible voice and tone. I'd also like to know what happened to Shae Jones. I loved her Talk Show album!
112 and Allure - All cried out👌🏽
OMG yes!!!! 😭😭😭
All Cried Out was made by Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam with Full Force in 1987. Nothing like the original.
@@adriennewilliams498 actually the remake is just as good as original.
@@mrsx7944 I don’t know 🤷♀️ I ever heard the remake but I’m going because it may sound just as good 👍.
Right
Love this channel
Breaks my heart….I loved this group soooo much.
Ummmmm I still say it's Diddy's fault. Diddy always has plans to fuck up his artists career. Only person that is as bad as him is Daddy Knowles.
Mannn I wish I had gotten a chance to see them perform. They were my absolute favorite group growing up.
Now I probably never will. 😔
The QRL reaction face!! 😆😂🤣😭
I bought 112 CD Room 112 off the strength of 1 song CUPID and that was the best investment made! I STILL PLAY that CD ❤
They are one of my favorite boy band groups.
Me too
Mini vids on 🎯. 112 still pressure. 🔥 🔥
This narrator is good. She sounds really professional
Finally I’ve been waiting on someone
To make a what happen to 112 group because I wanted to know
All I know is Daron was the groups secret weapon. Shame he wasnt appreciated more.
Although I’m not a die hard fan, he has always been my favorite.
So true….dude could really sing too
Loved Jagged Edge, but 112 was my favorite out of the two. The third album is one of my favorite albums.
I would love to see them to do the verzus
@@AriesSuperLove 112 (now just Slim and Mike) and Jagged Edge actually did their Verzuz last year.
From the very first time I heard Cupid I just fell in love with it up to this very day,if I put it on right now I can't play it without singing it to the very end and that lead singer is SO HANDSOME
Back in my popular days,I was a teenager,I remember being the MC along with Spank Booda at my high school Thornton Township In Harvey Illinois,They performed on stage that evening, along with Twista and other local Chicago artist,a milestone in my life;Very Talented Group,ROOM 112🏆
Now that we're done is the best R&B song ever
GOOD JOB AND VERY ACCURATE
It's the S.L.I.M.!
Then that beat drops! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
Great videos, I think you should also do one on r&b group potrait, I always wondered what happened to them.
