I grew up on the same street as Kid Capri (Kingsbridge Terrace in the BX) and he was a legend on our block. He started blowing up when I was about 8 years old. I remember he was standing outside in front of the bodega outside my building and I was so scared to ask him for an autograph. I finally went up to him and asked and he gave me an autograph on a black and white picture of himself. He treated me so nice and it made me feel so special. But he would always give back to the neighborhood kids. He would DJ our block parties, he brought garbage bags filled with fireworks for 4th of July. He's just a humble and extremely talented dude. Proud he represents my block!! Mad love Pooch!!!
