I built the "Loft with Infinity Pool" at 4:18 Thanks so much for touring my build ❤this just made my whole week! These challenges really encourage my creativity, so thank you for creating them!
This was my first shell challenge. I had so much fun doing it. Never been able to play video games due to having a disability but thx to UA-camrs like lilsimsie who raised money for able gamers I can now play video games on my adapted gaming console. Thx lilsimsie
Oh whoa! Thank you so much @lilsimsie for touring my "Chicken Woods Restaurant" at 17:00 I loved how the thunder was starting just as you toured my lot hehe. It was so much fun using this shell. Thank you again =)
im always super humbled whenever i see these shell challenge builds. people are so talented and and have such unique ideas! it’s so interesting how people can see the exact same build and see completely different things.
always astounded by everyone's creativity. I made a chicken cottage style restaurant which was toured on stream but i was staying in a hotel at the time and the wifi sucked so i missed you touring mine but it was so cool to see it on the VOD
also, Littledica’s tiny restaurant kitchen in really realistic- i work restaurant-industry adjacent and when doing onsite trainings, i’m always surprised at how tiny the kitchens of even quite large places are.
Simsie, you should try a no mistakes shell challenge. Basically you build a shell without changing anything after it is built and then everyone has to use that shell
Wow they are amazing! This was my first shell challenge, I did an off grid house with a huge pond called chicken pond. I wanted to call it chicken lake, but I told my husband (who an outdoorsman and loves to fish) and he said realistically it’s not a lake (buzz kill 😂). I looked through the gallery after I uploaded mine and it’s just amazing what people come up with. Definitely a fun, challenging experience and I look forward to the next shell!
i literally just started playing sims4 (sims in general) and these videos have helped me learn so much and get creative with my sims and how i decorate. i love getting to see how other people decorate and taking notes on how i can improve my builds. i literally take notes for certain things lol
all i wanna ask these simmers making such amazing and interesting builds is “DO YOU LIVE IN THE GAME?!?!” bc i can’t imagine how much time they’ve spent scrolling through the catalog to come up with these builds. like scrolling through the catalog alone would’ve probably taken longer than the actual building itself- im so curious how much time it took them to build these. especially those that used so much debug items!! i dread the debug menu so much so i can’t imagine scrolling endlessly through it.
I did 3 of these shells. I made a lake house, a base game home and an overgrown cottage. It was such a fun challenge. I was intimidated by the last few shell challenges so this one was welcoming. These builds are incredible!
I built a Conservatory. Took the shell, quadrupled it, then stacked two shells in opposite directions. Covered in all in windows and filled it with almost every plant and tree in the game(except I forgot the Cowplant and I’m so ashamed😭😭). Put a fountain out front and then a walkable garden path out back filled with flowers, statues and gnomes. I loved how it turned out. Probably my favorite build I’ve done so far. I’m excited for the next one!
Ok, so I completed this shell feeling fairly proud of myself that I actually managed to finish it "on time" and I thought I'd done a pretty good job (considering it had taken me over a week's worth of evenings, doing a little bit each night after my 18month old son had gone to bed). Then I watched this video 🙈... Boy, do I have a lot to learn! 😅
I've got an 18 month old son too, so proud of you for finding the time to even do the build. I told myself I was going to try it but didn't get the chance to. Kudos to you 👏
@@feliciaharvey1638 18 month old sons and Simsie's shell challenges are very similar: They're definitely a handful, but we still love them just the same 😂! I'm proud of myself too. Chin up, you might feel up to doing the next one. Thanks for the support... Us mommas have got to stick together. 😉
I love shell challenges! I havent done one in forever... I think i might do that this weekend since i have nothing to do and its super hot outside. Some great ideas here!
I made a cafe. Cherry Tree Lane Cafe. My first time doing any building - I usually make Sims. I am not good at doing roofs so I tend to grab stuff off the gallery usually. My wife convinced me to do this one. It was fun and I figured out how to make a basic roof look not bad! So impressed to get out of my comfort zone! I can't wait to try another one!
I love these shell challenge videos so much!! Also wouldn't mind a longer video where you go through them a bit slower, I always find myself pausing to take everything in haha!
Not me weeping at how good these build are! I was so pleased with my attempt at this shell challenge and now I see all of these … ! 😂 Everyone is so clever - I’m definitely going to do this shell challenge again now and see what I can come up with after seeing all this fabulous inspiration!
How are ppl so good at building i the Sims - and this was a SHELL CHALLENGE! I can't even build good homes normally- also kinda random but 25:41 the Faerie treehouse at the bottom looks so nice! I'm gonna check this one out
Hey! Thanks so much for touring my little starter home! I actually learned to build by watching your videos - mostly on my breaks at work - you and KelseyDangerously got me through 2 pretty dismal years at Wayfair haha - Thanks again! 😘
I felt a little sad that you didn't include my build, and then I watched the video, and now.... fair enough. All of these knock my build into a cocked hat! People are so freaking talented!! 😍😍
Those are really cool. I downloaded a couple of your shell challenge houses, the Fish Shell and the Simsie Shell challenge 4 one. I just roofed that thing and that was challenging in itself. lol. I don't know what I'll do now but pretty sure it won't be as creative as these you showed us. I'm not good at building but with the shell, maybe I can do something. lol
First time participating in a shell challenge! I made a dog diner for mine and had so much fun with it. Same username on the gallery if anyone is interested. 🥰 I’ve had just as much fun browsing the hashtag to see what everyone did.
I made a little cafe with some Japanese hints like the roofing, paintings inside, and other things among that. I named it "Kitsune Koffee" or was it Kafe? I don't remember. ANYways-- can't wait for the next shell challenge
Halfwalls are allowed - so you can cheese any of those shell challenges. Just use the highest halfwalls, add floor on top of it and use one of the bigger trims to hide the hole. I am actually making alien rocket inside a blue suburban for the newest circular shell.
I made a modern house with a trendy glam sort of style and a party patio. It's Simsie Chicken Modern Glam. It has a sneaky second floor, but it's just for show and it's built with platforms and half walls, so it counts! 😄
This was my first shell I've ever done. I had a lot of fun and was still hoping mine would be chosen for touring even though it is so amateur compared to these lol
Because you said something in your original video about how you probably could have fit more bedrooms in, I reworked my floor plan about 10 times so I could fit in 5 bedrooms for 8 sims. Along with 2 bathrooms. It was so painful lol
I am legit probably going to grab that bar for my NSB save - looks like a super fun place for my comedian/cop to come and do their stand-up routines when I get there (only a couple gens away now!).
I did one, though without Cc or mods on my Xbox. In tartosa, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with the laundry included in the chicken beak. It doesn't have anything all that fancy as i don't use cheats or debug etc. I did my best with all the packs/kits i have installed to make it look good. Added some werewolf scratches in the main bedroom as i had a werewolf sim live in the house. I even added a study nook. It is my first attempt at the shell challenge. I will admit to veing new to doing the roofs in sims 4 properly. Although i have been building and playing the sims since they were introduced in sim city 3000. As well as sims 1. I go by PiscesChef11 and SpicyChef84 on the gallery as i ay on both pc and xbox.
These were amazing! I just made a three bedroom one bath home. A toddlers room, a kids room, and the parents room. It's a cozy fit, but I'm quite proud of it C: I love doing shell challenges, but I don't have the internet to update my game so I can't participate in the upcoming circle shell challenge ;.; I'll still probably do it, though, later one when I have proper internet again xD
I wonder if it would be possible to do an entire neighbourhood with the same shell. Like every lot is a different lot type but you have to use the same shell.
I made a little cafe with a bunch of plants and mismatched items, as though the owners would just take any piece of furniture they could get to furnish the place!
Hey Lilsimsie You said a lot in this video, what you could learn from the incredibel buildings. My idea was, that you could write it down, and make it into a like to do list og videos. I mean as a example you say, you don’t usually make the roof to something special. So that could be a buildidea. Hope you can ude my idea☺️
i could barely complete this shell challenge, i can’t imagine how i’ll be able to complete the future ones now that curved walls are a thing
I can barely build houses in general lol. I can’t imagine successfully completing a shell challenge. Y’all are incredibly talented
Hopefully She'll wait until they work out all the bugs first.
They aren't that bad. You can cheese it a lot. And if there are no walls inside, the only real issue is the roofing it.
@@Voshana newest shell is circular and you can only copy it up and down.
I can’t even build houses lol.

I have to say, your build impressed me, possibly out of all of them (though it's hard to pick with so many talented creators). ❤️
Now imagine her shell challenges going forward now that we have circle rooms 😭
Usually I'm down to give her shell challenges a *TRY*, but I don't think I'd be down if she made one with a circular room 💀
I highly recommend her last stream… She did a circle shell… I did it… Probably the hardest thing she has ever created for a shell challenge
