Just watching you working on the old HYMAC brings back memories i bought one back in 1974 my first machine very popular machine back in 70ts and 80ts in uk till hitachi came in it also owned a German machine O&K rh4 brilliant machine Gaynors plant dealers did have a lovely example HYMAC 580c outside the shop for years like new i haven't been there for years it may not be there now but yeah HYMAC very easy to work on i remember changing the engine out in about a hours we put the engine out of a ford lorry into it same engine they used to crack on the H frame the shafts in the final drives used to break in winter if you didn't clean tracks out just looking at that one I'd say the heater is not working 😁
Happy new year to you wow that 580 brings back memories that's the first machine I drove 35 od years ago on groundwork great machines once you get use to the pedals and the extra boost you got on the sticks drove the bigger 590 as well great reliable machines they were
Well done Patrick, great to see that there is life in the machine still. Happy new year to all the Courtney family, Best wishes for 2025. Keep the flag flying 👌👏👏👏
Great video! The hi-mac was definitely a machine of the past that never dies. The content is great amazing videos. Would love to see a in-depth vid of the yard such as sizes of the shed the ratio of the equipment what machine your running/using would be great. Keep up the good work
Shame to see the Old Ford sat out idle. Sure you could find some use for her even if it was only on a little log splitter or a transport box around the yard
I nearly choked on the fumes from here just watching , needs allot of work start with rebuilding the engine and pin and bushes maybe line boring is required
Well done Patrick with getting the hymac going again ,try and get her indoors and restore that iconic machine
Great job nice to see her running again, always break my heart driving around seeing old machines left to rot . Great video by the way. 👍👍
Ya it’s sorry to see all those old machines left to rot or else cut up for scrap! Cheers 👍

This is the hymac 580C.
The 580D is a better machine control wise
Just a bit of TeeCut and she’ll be like brand new.
