So from Manila i took a solo trip up the mountains to Baguio City (City of Pines) as recommended to me by many other travellers. It wasnt easy getting there (See my previous video: • Amateur Travel Vlog #4... ) but it was sure as hell worth it!
This is my travel diary of being Lost and alone up the mountains for 3 days and i enjoyed every second of it. The Philippines is not everyones first choice for a holiday but ive been around a bit and for me its right there at the top! If you love adventure i highly recommend you Visit Philippines :)

hey dunc, just to let you know im loving your videos mate seriously you really are entertaining mate. i suffer terrible mental health issues and social anxiety so i cant get out much, as i often end up having a meltdown or getting into bother so when the moods come knocking i tend to stay indoors for as long as the episode lasts. anyway seeing your videos and the fun you have and your happy go lucky attitude really has been a tonic for me lately my friend and you have taken me out of myself and my problems and for that i just wanted to say thankyou duncan. i also purchased the xiaomi pro 2 last friday because of your videos and iv just been out on it for half hour for the first time and im so impressed mate it flies like cat shit off lino hahaha! im gunna go back out on it tonight when it gets dark cos im a bit worried about getting pulled by the rozzers and having it taken off me. iv just purchased a load of accessories for it too the front bag the plastic cover the bumper sticker the plastic bag holder a phone holder and a extra extention bar for my go pro.and a torch. once im confident enough on it i will buy the suspension you recommended.. anyway mate just wanted to say thanks and i appreciate your work my friend happy safe travels and look after yourself out there pal blessings and love bro x jase
That's really cool man thanks so much for your message 😊 yeah mental health can be a struggle I know, there was a point in my life I was just totally 'lost' I was completely and utterly over my life as much as anyone could be, but on the other hand I was always honest with myself about being too chicken to do anything about it. I couldn't chat all day about how 'you never know what's round the corner' I just had to live a life where I was at least creating 'opportunities' for something to change my outlook but you know the crack, it's all very difficult to describe in text and people who have never felt those feelings would never understand. But hey ho I guess. At about 37 years old I came into a tiny bit of money (£3k) and I used it to go traveling s.e. asia by myself. It changed my life no question and I've been lucky enough to go back over that way a few time again thanks to the now wifey. All the best to you Jason.
