I hope you get a chance to film tonight's New Year at a high vantage point in the city. Better if you can get on a rooftop (for a 360 degree view) or outside and not inside so you can hear and smell the fireworks that will engulfed the city at the strike of midnight.
When we were kids, going up to Baguio thru Kennon road was a treat, you can smell the pine trees all the way to the city. But now, it is a city abused and its sad to see informal settlers' houses where there used to be huge pine trees. No more fresh pine tree smell. And the traffic is horrendous!! I hope and pray, this does not happennin Bukidnon and Highlands of Davao where the weather and pine tree smells is just as good as Baguio in the 1960's!
The Bell Church sits on the boundary between Baguio City and La Trinidad (the capital of Benguet province). Those colorful houses (colors inspired by the Favella houses in Brazil(?)) and the strawberry farms are in La Trinidad. Not Baguio. Further into La Trinidad, beyond the strawberry farms, are the flower plantations.
Arduous it was, mate but the adventure was all it takes. You had at least experienced the different area of the north; the highland north. The cold weather of my hometown has given you some sort of a London vibe. Keep the good vibes, mate.❤️👍

Strawberry farm is actually already in La Trinidad Valley, not Baguio City. I think their strawberries are a bit more expensive per kg because they charge for the tour also. There are strawberry suppliers/farms that can supply strawberries at 400-500 per kg but they're outside the touristy areas and they're smaller farmhold.
During the 90's you can really enjoy Baguio bec theres only few houses in the mountain, the local govt at well as the govt shld not allow that to be resided in such a way that it's too crowded now.
You've missed to go to PMA baguio. Thats the most I enjoyed there. There are old battle tanks, airplanes and helicopters. Its good for picture picture.
I haven't seen any part of Baguio in this video. What was featured was the Bell Church, Strawberry Farm and those colorful houses which were all in La Trinidad, Benguet. You practically covered Km 1 to Km 5 in La Trinidad

Strawberries are much pricier at the farm because they expect you to eat a lot more than what you have weighed, as much as double I expect. Tho I would prefer to eat strawberries washed and with cream than straight from the ground possibly still with traces of pesticide. I think strawberries go for much less in temperate regions because they're able to produce a lot more with their weather.

Houses clustered atop hills are not only iconic to Baguio but to many municipalities in the Cordillera. Try Banaue, Sagada, Bontoc, etc
