I saw the movie and I loved it, one thing I noticed with the Atrociraptor they seem a bit more bulky, of course a shorter face but these seemed like they would possibly be more durable and have more physical endurance.
Dromeosaurids like atrociraptor, deinonychus ("JP Raptor") are generally more bulky in build than velociraptoridae, like velociraptor mongolensis(not in the movie). Velociraptorinae are inbetween the more slender Troodon and other saurornithoides, and dromaeosaurs. Though the Deinonychus snout got newly reconstructed into a more elongated build, similar to utaraptor and dakotaraptor, the overall physique is that of a dromeosaurus, with an elongated snout, but its bite is (even more so now) quite terrible. The typical dromeosaurs like atrociraptors have quite a bulky jaw and short legs ideal for dampening pressure from jumping and running (dromaeosaurus means running lizard)
Bro something isn’t right. That raptor in the diagram you showed was bigger than the human and it was 33lbs? Literally no way. Ik they had hollow bones but even still the one you showed was a big animal.
