I'm 4 years late, but you should patent that, if you haven't. Well done project. Personally, I would prefer it 4 to 6 inches wider for more stability, but that is just me.
this looks better the yamahas idea and it looks like it would not take much to make it lock in up right position so no foot pedaling at low speed and no riding of with stand down and esey to modify eny bike all you nead is 1 wheel 1 set forks 1 engineering company and 1 grate mum and dad . Thank you for sharing this grate vido and engineering knowledge
looks brill as you can see Im a triker to but have gone onto a new nc honda 750 brill bike but dangerous tiers in the rain would like to add the extra front end any help Bob
Has Aussie Post seen this? Imagine the weight they could carry with an extra front wheel, Although being a Honda CT110 I'm guessing stopping is still myeh.
BRILLIANT and PROFESSIONALLY EXECUTED. Being 72 , I would love to build something like this for myself. Is there any chance of getting detailed pictures, or a copy of your paper, or plans ?
Rowan bro I'm from india just wanted to know the pattern of the front wheel assembly please if u can help me with it wanna modify my old bike in a different way. coz there is a bike called niken by yamaha it's cost is $16000 & it will be in 1600000 rs in india with 845 c.c engine on it .it's way to costly .please if u can help pls
how wide is it I have a leaning e reverse trike its only 11 inches wide I am not sure why but it slipped out from under me one day when I was making a turn
Most existing leaning reverse trike designs limit to actual tilt angle. Once you reach that angle limit, the outer wheel looses traction and can cause the whole front end to slide. This design has allowed for more tilt angle and therefore, will be more stable when turning/leaning. It seems he has found the optimum front wheel spacing and lean angle. Would be nice if we could download the paper so we could replicate his success. I'd buy the PDF plans?
@@RedbackAviation Do tilting vehicles need to prescribe to Ackermann? Do tilting vehicles need toe alignment? If each wheel is free to caster, or if each front tyre is free to deform and/or slip is there need for the requirements of conventional automobile steering (aka modern horse carts with the horse replaced by an engine). Tilting vehicles throw conventional automotive engineering texts out the window.
excellent design...i love that the linkage is on top and not down where it could be potentially damaged ....you have "something" here...
Nice work. Also liked the outtake at the end, good show.
Rowan! kindly share with me how to make front side suspension, I want to make my own.
Excelente ideia e ótimo projeto!

With 2 front wheels, is the difference between maneuvers more agile or heavier than standard motors? Thanks

Parabéns meu amigo campeão da libertadores
are there any front wheel toe-alignment problem when tilting?
I think if Ackerman is set properly, should be no problem?
