Personally, I just love the longer vids with the beginning, middle/training but most importantly, a 2-week follow-up visit to the home, a sit down and chat for a few minutes? We miss that format.
I have commented before about the this issue, but I am not the Pro. I was, however, a PAWS Foster Home and trainer for 3 years and pet owner growing up.
Five kids in the fam. Poor mom. Baby ball pythons, cows, sisters each had a pastured horse around the corner, domesticated Fancy rats, exotic birds (Blue and Gold and Sunset Macaws, an African Grey, Cockatiels, my own Goffin Cockatoo), hamsters, goldfish, mom was a Tee-Toy poodle and Pommie breeder, German Shepherds, several Poms in our family, etc.
Everything but a Giraffe, an Ostrich and an Elephant, it seems. 👍
What are your thoughts re: neutering a male dog to reduce dominance?
What I know is just a toothpick, compared to your knowledge, which is more like a a Mountain Lodge Resort log cabin that sleeps 200, full Chef's kitchen, the fishing, Concierge service, etc. lol.
Kindest regards, from a long-time fan and your eternal sister in Christ somewhere near Seattle.

This was more enjoyable than the “Cesar Shorts” in the way this video was structured. More of him now on screen breaking down science and diving a little deeper into essentially each sentence. I like Cesar going back over the episodes and adding comments, because in this manner he can repeat as often as necessary the core issue. The behaviors, human and dog, that leads to a chaotic life, dangers and eventually possible removal of the dog from their life all stems for one thing here, play. The dog is hyper playful and the humans trying to stop him are merely playing too in his mind.
I think when people are in the moment, either living it or watching it, they're trying to take in so much ,the base to build change on can get lost.
When we were children having fun playing, sooner or later an adult would tell us it's time to stop. They us told what, when and where to play. Play had rules, so once people with dogs like Murphy really understand "play" is the issue and that their behavior is playing also , then they see it differently.
Laser target the core human and issue, center all actions around it and the problems will lessen or end. The problem can be trying to fix all things around the issue first or overthinking and making it too complex. Going back over a problem case, repeating salient points, and speaking of them from a different angle is the repetition humans need.

To help them avoid it (training):
    - Grab two different treats
    - Put one of the treats out on your palm, keep pulling hand away until your dog stops trying to eat it. Once your dog looks away from the treat or looks at you and doesn’t touch it , say “leave it” and reward with the other treat.
    - Repeat this and make the temptations harder (put treats on ground, walk around the dog) or (put treats on his/her paw)
I have found that helpful so when my pup is about to walk and put something in his mouth I say “leave it” and he looks away now. Hope it helps someone 🤍

I have a Golden retriever and a Papillon. And from day one I taught them they must not eat anything until they get instructions to eat after looking at me. So I put food down then they must sit and look at me not the food. Then I say ok.
That way they know the food comes from me and only me.
I can leave my plate on the ground (and have done) and they will not even look at the food. In fact they're not allowed to.
They don't spend their whole time wanting food, it's great! They don't bother visitors or the kids for food.

I want another Pit Bull Terrier. I lost my Jewels 7 years ago to someone else's act of violence. I found myself looking for her in every puppy face I saw, so I have never chosen one. However, here lately, I have found myself drawn to Blues and Tans with colored eyes instead of her Red with amber eyes. I believe, what you said in this video about finishing the grieving process, is what has kept me from finding a new companion. Even though I really needed the love and comfort of having one due to the violence I lived through during the same time period. I feel I am finally in a place where I feel strong and confident again. I feel I am finally in a place where I can give the love and comfort back to another companion. Thank you Cesar for helping me understand that.

I don't have a dog 🐶 hence why I been watching all Cesar lessons on animals and more so for the dogs welfare is basically determine on me and attitude and energy. I'm looking forward to own a dog once I get the right behavior intrinsic for my dog.

I have a 10 month old yorkie she’s amazing and more of a teacher to me she’s taught me patience and has calmed a lot of anxiety I had dealt with she came into my life as a therapy dog, and believe me that’s what she is, you Caesar have also taught me how to understand my dog, and have made my transition easier to handle her, I feel as if she can literally read my mind, and when I see you connect with your pets, the energy they read off you is calming, they love you and they feel safe in your world, I learned that from you and my dog reinforced that loving energy back to me, I thank you and I am blessed that my dog came into my life for a reason and at the right time during this pandemic. ❤️💯

My chihuahua mix loves to grab things off the ground on the walk. He will leap along and pick up little pieces of paper and trash and sticks and bounce and throw it around and grab the next thing. He's just celebrating the moment. Seeing him have so much fun makes me lighten up and just feel better about life. Thank god for him 💜

I love your birds! Toucans are so awesome (and yes, pretty messy!) and I loved watching when he (she?) reached out for affection. They are so intelligent and loving.

Much love Mr Cesar. I could so do with your assistance with my dog. He is very nervous and hyper and is aggressive when nervous. I have never had these issues with my five previous dogs so this is all very new for me. I am learning so many new ways in dealing with these issues watching your videos. Your training me to be a better human for my dog but I still wish you were here to help me with the finer points. Bless you and your family ❤️
