all of the air movement in this oven is diffused. If you have a concern about that, you can pull it from oven mid cure and wipe any areas with denatured alcohol (make sure the part is cool) and put it back in the oven
When you are blasting with the ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’, does that ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’ work with blasting all things when you need to blast with the ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’ or does the ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’ leave you with needs where you won’t use the ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’? 🥸Okay enough joking about the ‘30-60 Green Diamond media’. Here’s a real question, do you adjust the vacuum power down when using the micro tube for vacuuming out the area? Or throw that kit on a smaller vacuum? Like a 1.5 gallon shop vac? I’d think you need so little vacuum power so you’d not agitate the powders that’s around where you are trying to clean up….
I use an adapter to downsize from shop vac hose to the lil hose I use. I drilled 6 holes in that adapter so its also pulling just air from the shop and in regards to the media. I just sometimes use 30-60 green diamond media for blasting when im blasting with 30-60 green diamond media
Amber tape is too thin for me, green works the best for my application. Just have to run spatula across the green tape after putting it on and cut a few slits so it can breathe. Wont come off anymore until you pull it off.
Haha this has been beaten to death on this channel. Doesn't matter if you squeegee it down. Amber sticks way better always. Ps they make different thickness of amber tape
@@UnknownCoatings ive used them all and im the opposite, i hate amber tape. I have gotten some cheaper green tape before that did what you showed in this video though. The good tape doesnt do that though. Different strokes for different folks
What media do you use?!?!?! LOL!!! I would definitely like to see your strip set up video before I dump another 1300 on Benco here in the next couple weeks
those close-up shot of vacuuming really helps ! very appreciated.
glad to hear it! Always stoked to hear about people learning from the vids!

One again a save! The calipers video was great also!
Seems to be a reoccurring theme at this point. Dunno what all these people are doing
I much prefer to push powder into inlays vs removing powder from inlays
im back and forth on that. Typically depends on how the inlays are machined/cast how sharp the edges are.
Liked the slow motion 👌
Thats what she said!
Foil tape much better sticks amazing and cheap just gotta pull it off warm.
Ill stick with my amber tape lol

Does the oven convection not blow some of the black powder back onto the white lettering?

Would you say satin paint on a blasted part has more satin characteristics than a smooth finish?
it shouldnt have an effect.

Well this is tape from ESPI, never heard anyone refer to them as cheap. but who knows.
What is your vacuum source?
a shop vac, I use a coupler to size it down and the coupler has holes drilled in it to not over work the vacuum
Also where do you get the Amber tape. The green shit sucks!!!!
EPSI or AMAZON just look up amber high temp tape or kapton

Where do you get the amber tape?
Amber tape is typically made of a material called Kapton. It's good for high temperature applications.
Kapton Is just the trademarked name owned by DuPont. It's not made of kapton...
30-60 diamond you say? 😂😂😂😂
I may have mentioned it once or twice!
First
basically
