I don’t know what kind of friendships you guys have but that is the kind of friend I need in my life. Yeah my father figure just died and I’m lying to the few people in my life that can actually help me through and make things better, Hell yeah they better slap some sense into me and tell me off for lying to them.
I need them and it is their problem because I am their problem. The fact that I’m sad, struggling and lying to them about things going on in my life is going to affect them BECAUSE they care about me, and when they see me sad and struggling that is going to be hard on them and it’s probably going to hurt. Just as it hurts for me to see them trying to carry so much themselves.
That is the essence of caring for me, to care so much that it hurts when the other is hurting. So in that way I feel my friends deserve to know. At least for the sake that as friends we lean on each other.
And I don’t think I would have it any other way.

I feel like this friendship is the string that brings everything else together in the series. It’s that love for each other that makes everything else matter. It’s just so pure and beautiful.
(Also his relationship with Jack. All his connections to people give the situations context and meaning, so cool)
