CORRECTION: I managed to completely miss that the max squad size is 15 models now, so you can get potentially very big squads that would be very useful for stratagem use, Might be a little vulnerable to morale or having their shooting locked up in CC though. Thanks to '4dayz maate' for pointing that out!
It certainly helps open up the option to them... I guess you'd have to weigh that up against having more special weapons and filling up more battalion slots
Any order benefits from 15 girl squads, if you load them with 2 melta guns and a combi-flamer and then use the holy trinity stratagem on them anything becomes a viable target.
Sadly, Storm Bolters tend to just be better than flamers in a vast majority of situations. Add in Blessed Bolts Stratagem and it becomes outright superior and you can stuff in 3 Storm Bolters to 1 Flamer in points.
Two things I would like to add: firstly, I think the meltagun can be quite good in a 15 sisters squad. Together with a combi-flamer on the superior, this would allow to use "holy trinity" on the whole squad. Yes, you need to get to 8" range, but if you get those in range, this could be powerfull. Secondly, @6:50 you suggested to use a miracle dice for rerolling the shot number for a heavy flamer. This is not possible. The miracle dice can only be used on very specific dice roles and number of shots are not included in this list. Everything else sounds very good to me. Thank you for the video!
To do that you can use ebon chalicevs stratagem. But I do think ec is better to use for melta user, the garanted 6 by using 2 md means that if even one melta hits, it's 6 guaranteed damage, and all sister can potentially use aof 2 time x phase, so up to 12 guaranteed damage on target. That's a lot of damage on a model
the great thing about having a melta in each squad is that if your opponent can see that you have a '6' miracle dice spare he'll think twice about charging ANY of your squads with a valuable character as you could potentially spend the MD on cooking that character before he even gets into melee.
@@helline9 this comes in top. But tbh, I see the potential of this tactic more in canonesses and inferno pistols. Shure, the character could make a longer charge, but that is more risky of failing. But yeah, with a 6 as a MD available, meltas become great defensive wespons.
@@helline9 especially if you have 2 command points left to use faith and fury strat, meaning that 1 single md is both the to hit and to wound roll, if you have a simulacrum imperialis as well, you can also use another high md to guarantee the damage.

Hey thanks for the video - my friends and I have a question regarding this rule/choice; "The Sister Superior can additionally be equipped with 1 weapon from the Melee Weapons list, or can be equipped with 1 weapon from the Melee Weapons list instead of 1 boltgun" I've seen some people quote the first part as a standalone option, i.e you can additionally equip 1 melee weapon (and it doesn't mean you replace your boltgun) Even though the second part contradicts this and states that taking a melee weapon replaces the boltgun. So is it legal for a Sister Superior to have a boltgun and chainsword? I'm thinking it's not and actually the additional weapon from melee is only applicable in the case of having one melee already (so you can take an additional melee along and duel wield essentially) Could anyone please help clarify this logically, because everyone who argues the opposite of my viewpoint seems to think you can take an additional melee without penalty despite the latter part saying a melee would replace.
