Tutorial - How to play Älguém me Avisou"(Dona Ivone Lara) - Rhythm and harmony of Samba de Roda

This tutorial was made to simplify the harmony and rhythm of Samba de Roda, through the song "Alguém me advertu" by Dona Ivone Lara. The characteristic of Brazilian music that uses the Samba language is that it is syncopated, therefore, we will understand the rhythmic characteristics of the more traditional styles such as Partido Alto, Samba de Terreiro and Pagode. We will also use a classic cadence of this musical style: The secondary dominants. In the video we have the opportunity to understand the rhythmic and harmonic patterns of samba in a didactic way, and thus gain more intimacy with the Brazilian way of making music.
