Another great video man. Love the basho + hand missile + melee combo it's a great way of creating some missile builds that are actually more fun to play as (and against) compared to a lot of the more kite focused long range missile builds since you get rewarded for actually going in with some really solid melee punish damage
Oh I just stumbled upon this channel and I knew the emblem looked familiar. I'm the guy without the emblem aka (I'mNoobC:) I'm trying my best and I'm really bad at this game, tho I do believe I just won against you only once out of the three games we had. Regardless thanks for the game!
@landonw8982 Thank you for your kind words, tho I'm not really a new player. I played this game since the first day it got launched. But yes, I did learn some of the major factors that contributed to my wininngs, especially the arena and its size, and its limits, and having different types of ACs (Close/long range combat ACs ) and finding the right AC just to counter my opponent style and oh boi don't get me started talking about JP players. Other than that, I am really bad at this game, especially when it comes to dodging missiles and rushing players. Edit: Sorry for making this long essay
That was pretty quick, a new vid so soon. Also, hearing you talk about the core's facade, how the copper lays over the grey for a 2-tone effects and matching the light of the blade; that may not be relevant for the game, but that's how mecha model builders feel, Moose. It's pretty zen. While modelers get to see and hold their builds in physical space, AC6 & mecha game players have the pleasure of piloting their stuff. When i do get AC6, i'll probably have PvP as a 2nd or 3rd priority & just make really cool looking cores with nice color scheme and decals. Kinda like how i played in MHW. All for fashion, and a bit of function.
Lol, before the Armored Core series reached mainstream with the latest sixth addition, most Armored Core games are known for people spending more time in their Nests building their AC rather than actually fighting with them. Gotta admit, the depth of customization regarding part assembly is pretty weak compared to previous titles, and they got rid of part tuning which sucks, but the paint/emblem system was a good job. Now if only we could share codes cross platform…
My first pvp build was like this, except my strategy involved a dual WS-5000 APERITIF and Laser blade. EL-PW-01 TRUENO on Shoulder, but swapable since it wasn't core part of the strategy. The plan? Run away alike a madman and shoot missiles. If anyone got closer, do a surprise laser blade charge attack. Simple and efficient.
Try out the coral sword instead of the pulse sword and use the charge attack after a kick. That way it doesn't matter if you kick them away, and you should get a free hit on them as they usually dodge into the beam
the day of the new patch I made a similar build. I, too, use the HML but I've used the coral blade instead of the pulse blade, but actually already wanted to try the latter instead. as for the back weapons though I use a trueno and a shield, but I'm thinking about replacing the shield for probably some other missile launcher. so all in all, the final build will be pretty similar, weapons-wise (and I do have the basho arms too, of course). the core you use is probably better for my build too but I decided to keep the HAL because I prefer it aesthetically and because I'd have to apply some decals again >_>
I did a video on missile knighting way back last month. In ranked, I currently believe this is the only way you're gonna actually play with some modicum of skill and honor and still beat the cheese meta
@@MooseTorrent I don’t know how to predict a stagger to punish it , in souls and BB the parry and visceral punish is much more clearly driven into the game . In this game I find it completely random but I’m usually button mashing enough to damage them regardless

fr. I rather play this than missile rat and hope and pray that my missile hit the opponents or get run down by double laser build.

It’s an overwhelming game at first , keep plugging at it bro you will get better and faster than you think 😁

Oh nice! Hope to see you out there again!
That flawless was ice cold.
Actually yeah that pain job is pretty bomb, I love it. Good idea on the use of camo for subtle texture

I had this one done. I just rushed the gatling gunnguy cause I was so excited lol. Painting is definitely a zen experience!
10:30 Moose aggravated voice: *JAPANESE!!* 😆
They always hittin me with the lag!
You sound so proud of your paint and tou should be. You're an artist Moose.
The ACT 2 missles are insane. I use that #@%$ on everything.
6:30 nice comeback 👏🏼
Thought it said missile bladder for a second
That would be painful!

Yeah, good idea!
My go-to PvP build is basically the same except I use a linear rifle as a damage nuke instead of blades, to keep the distance.
My friends and I have taken to calling the active homing missile launchers 'Hound Launchers'
Now I just want a weapon that launches mini drone hound that attacks enemies!
Missiles + mini gun also rips when I tried it.
Cool video! Man the pulse blade combo is downright disgusting 😘
I use this set up for most of the game as it served well in most missions and bosses. I ha e a different idea for PVP though😁
Why does that sound sinister? Lol
Awesome build bro!!!
It was a fun one!

I feel you about having to replace the decals again
Imma’ stealing that paint scheme from you Moose, then repurposing it with my own touch. But I also left you a like, I got standards and all.
Smooth as butta, yup
I have a similar build but with a moonlight/redlight instead of the pulse blade
I did a video on missile knighting way back last month.
In ranked, I currently believe this is the only way you're gonna actually play with some modicum of skill and honor and still beat the cheese meta
Anyone on a light build is playing with more skill and honor than the majority of ranked players. BVO build or not.
what skill is there in missile builds?
how do you play the old maps in PvP? I only get to play the new ones randomly, the old ones are not in the rotation.
You have to do it in custom match not ranked. This was filed before the 1.05 patch too.
instead of doing kick into pulse blade, try to kick into meele cancel foward and then do the pulse blade combo
I still don’t really understand stagger in this game.
The mechanics or how it could possibly cause your bullets to do more damage? Cause I don't get that either lol.

@@landonw8982 😆 there's a bar right over your health and over your opponents health that shows stagger! That should help you a bit!
Again you using the Meta paint job, it’s practically cheating
