Ultima is like the Authority in His Dark Materials. He claims to be the Creator, but he reveals himself to be a liar and cheater, angry that humanity has realized they don't need him and willing to anything to destroy the idea of free will and human consciousness.
Ultima created humanity only to provide a physical vessel strong enough wield the magic required to create his new world. Then man developed free will and fell from his grace. To Ultima, humanity is a failed creation deserving of extinction.
She doesn't comprehend why Ultima couldn't just create Mythos alone and why humanity was necessary at all. The answer is, because that's not how it works.
Ultima describes humanity how a scientist describes bacteria they culture to achieve a certain result or plants sown to eventually achieve a certain effect.
This segment is one of my only real critiques of the game as a whole. It’s such a HUGE info dump, and it’s so late in the game that you almost can’t let it all sink in before the credits roll! Doesn’t “ruin” the experience by any means but was definitely a head scratcher for me 😂
Never worry about Torgal, not only is he a good boy, but he is also OP AF!
Btw, Dion and the Dragoons.... I love them so much! (I'm a FF14 Dragoon, also Estinien is my boy)
I absolutely love Final Fantasy XVI!!!! ❤
The Game : Ultima Vanquished
Ultima : (half-staggered) I didn't hear any bell
