I think he made a mistake to be honest with the straight. In my opinion the best play: 1) Bet small on the river about 40,000 and fold vs a raise. 2) Or check the river and call vs a medium size bet and fold vs a bet, 75,000+
He tanked for much longer than 25seconds it was cut down for the purpose of this video lol. It was 3-4 minute tank which is pretty long for a spot like this.

Yes, slowplaying is a risky move, but calling disguises the strength of his hand and my point is that he knows that if a blank hits Juanda might throw out a third bet on the river and shoving here only gets rid of all the hands you beat. In his mind there isn't too many draws Juanda could have and there's way more hands he's crushing. He has to worry about 8 10 and JJ and that river brings QQ and K10 he probably put Juanda on queens. It was very unfortunate for him to get rivered and he took a chance.

It’s like a blocker bet, when he was bet into on the flop and turn. Juanda was naming his own price. As far as face up, him calling on the flop and turn makes his hand face up, that’s why AJ went into the muck. Same as why you raise with aces preflop, to try to win the pot now, or have it heads up. In a tournament winning the pot is more important, since you can’t rebuy.

I concur,but that big bet made Juanda believe he was up against another full house that is why he just called if he felt otherwise,he would have went all in,a bit on the safe side, personally,i would have gone all in too,and pretty sure my opponent will fold before he can snap call.

Only conclusion after seeing this: it’s just impossible to win this tournament, unbeliecvable how many suckouts there are and how many times bad play was rewarded. I could not handle this
juanda played the KTs OK assuming he was intending on bluffing brick rivers. he could’ve gone a lot bigger on the river though. Bet like 70k or even 125k is fine too. Or just check jam because your opponent always has to bet and probably call off with his two pairs and sets AND you unblock any hands that might consider a bluff.
I disagree, 3 ways he is leading into guys with a strong range with double gutter only with no spades. If he has spades or even one spade I like it. Imo he got bailed out. If he bluffs brick rivers he is getting snapped against the set. Just bad luck for Chan. I think he needs to raise on that flop with a draw heavy board and 2 opponents

Also I agree that sets should’ve raised either flop or turn with so many action killing cards that can come off.
