The 67,68,&69 Camaro Z/28s came with the the high revving 302 engine. Also, they only made 50 Z/28s in the color you guys are showing us right now. Two of the 50 were the non ac and radio option.

That was just the 2015 model year. In 2014 they only made 20 with ac. Between 2014 and 2015 the made a total of 1801 Z/28s in five different colors both ac and non ac. Just wanted to let you know. I have a 2015 in red with ac and radio option.

Also I think GM really dropped the ball in making the next GEN Z/28. The Alpha Chassis 2016 1LE package weight almost 80 pounds lighter than the previous GEN Z/28. I dont think it would of cost GM anything to add Carbon Ceramic Brakes, a light weight exhaust and a carbon fiber driveshaft. This could of shave and additional 60-70 pounds
Agreed. I think we also have to consider the Camaro market. Although those thing aren't that expensive the question is how much would this cost the customer. This will start moving the Camaro in the lower end of the Corvette. But that would only be for those who are willing to pay for those options. Sounds like a great idea!!! #dba #lbm

Lets not forget that the LS7 had titanium connecting rods and a factory dry sump oil system. The Z/28 was created to attack the nurburgring. The Z/28 created so many Gs in braking in cornering that Chevy had to media blast the wheels to give the tires a sticky surface so that the tires wouldnt rotate.
