- Give it up to my buddy James for putting me on to this new Speed Run Location. It is just what I needed to really open up my cars. I will be running here for now on.
Arrma Felony 8S Bumblebee running on Mamba Monster X 8S with a 1650kv motor combo with Philip Jolly Ripple Killer Cappack all being controlled through the Radiolink RC6GS V2. Turned off gyro because it's super super sensitive.
Made two test passes before my final 3rd pass. Before last pass my GoPro battery died but I had another one charged. I left the car up at the starting point. No traffic here which I love. Finally, joined the 120mph club. That was my goal when I first started Speed running. Anything beyond that to me is fantastic but I'm satisfied 😌. I may shoot for 130mph later but I'm just happy I did it on both my Felony and Limitless. Well thanks for watching and stay safe. - Розваги

Thanks that's all I wanted to do. 120mph I fast especially with the Felony body which is difficult to achieve because of all the drag it produces. Not like the Limitless.
@@MatrixRC Yeh I bet the limitless is easy to make fast but making something like the felony or my hyper go fast is hard work! Much more rewarding!
That's fast man currently mid 80s on 3s in my rustler 2wd 4s battery in route😊

@@MatrixRC 2200kv arrma motor and a hobby wing max 8 with 34/34 mod 1 gears is my set up for the most part also has the g10 cassis and everything else to go with. Love the content and I look forward to 100 eventually 😁 o I also have a short clip of my rustler on my youtube channel if your interested in seeing it

That was my personal goal. I love the Felony as it was my first 1/7 Scale vehicle.

Yea this combo is actually really good. Could hit 150mph with it. Hate to say but no MM XLX2 necessary. Maybe for a 1/5 scale though.

With that one. Traxxas X01 is not made for anything over 6s. It probably won’t even run
Sorry to hear you say that but thats not true. I've had this car consistently run on 6S and 8S. Just need to set it back up. It has been a long long time since I had this custom build that I made out.
That's cool i have an 8s capable XO-1 myself with a Max 6 ESC with 1,650KV Hobbywing motor and it's insane. but i don't run on 8s all the time since it's really rough on the drivetrain on 8s. Can't wait to see the video if you haven't already made it or not i'd love to see it i'm an OG XO-1 fan myself.

Nice Run! My first goal is 100 on the stock electronics , so far I hit 85 with a 27t pinion on a short road
Stock with a long road you'll get to avg. Around 96mph. I manage to hit 97.9mph but couldn't Crack that 100mph. If I was going in a decline maybe but I was in a incline.

Hi mate what gearing and batteries as I saw your video then got same motor and ESC and can only hit 88 Flat out and can't work out what's wrong. I did add speed gear from box
Its mostly throttle control as you run it. Find a nice long flat stretch of road and gradually get into it. Any lipos will work over 50C rating. You dont really need super expensive stuff what I found out. And just increase your pinion a tooth at a time and enjoy the gradual increase as you get more familiar with your car.

Priceless!!!! I just hit my first 60mph! I know right🤷♂️😒.. but it’s bcs I JUST got a GPS and I thought I been hitting 60 turns out I have not until the GPS confirmed it. Running a MMX2 and 1717/1650kv at the time on 21T pin and stock hoons. I know I could or (The r/c) could of done 70 but it’s a $30 GPS and it doesn’t confirm speed as fast as these cars accelerate. BUT….. I JUST dropped a MMX8 into it and I got 4s packs for it. Even at 3.8v the 8s is super powerful. I have to redo my suspension geometry bcs of brand new wheels and also the extra weight. “Not” in a hurry to reach 100mph or attempt it for better words lol. I like the acceleration and power more than actually going a speed that will destroy my R/C if things go wrong. Thanks for the video I appreciate you taking that risk on camera. …. What are the details if you don’t mind me asking? Gears, Lipo, esc settings… what amps did you pull on that run and how many HP did you make going 120???

Cool speedrun, I plan on getting a Felony or Infraction V2 i just got into on road speed machines last year with my XO-1 and this year i bought a Rlaarlo AK917 Carbon chassis version. So far the Rlaarlo is more stable and straighter that my XO-1 but i plan to try to fix the steering on the XO.

@@MatrixRC Thanks, I got the steering fixed on the XO-1 i played with some of my radio's settings. and did a little bit of turnbuckle adjustment and it now track very straight. I'm now tinkering with the AK-917 trying to get it straight.
Great Job 👍🏼 take that same principles and do the same with the AK. My buddy h hut 170+mph says that's the most difficult thing to tune but he got.
@@MatrixRC Thanks, I came back to this video since i'm hoping to buy an Arrma Felony this year sometime in the spring or summer. Don't know if i'll make it into a Street bash and speedrun vehicle or keep it stock i'm also hoping to start my Speedrunning journey this year after i find a good enough spot to them in. Before i do my first few passes with my XO-1 i need to make some repairs to her after a crash i had last year nothing major but want her to be in her best shape for my first speedrun.
Good luck with the X0-1 speed running that car is a challenge. Make sure to check the stock tires and glue them again if running but better off just putting on a set of BSR foam tires and letting it rip.

To be honest it was a long time ago I don't remember and I don't want to give you any false information. But if I had to guess it's about a quarter mile from my start to the intersection.
Same combo, I ran a 127 on Kembo.

No sir, the stock wing creates way to much drag and reduces the speed by 5 to 10mph. Plus I DON'T want to cut the wing because I use it in drag racing for 132ft. But speed runs the beaver tail is enough. In addition, it's more than having or not having a wing on the car that makes the car faster. Now if I replace the wing with something more rigid than stock and that allows the air to pass through without creating so much drag resistance the stock wing does than yes. A wing will help. But that is a part I ordered months ago and still have not gotten. Watch Raz, Phill and Innovation cars. See there wing setups. For me, I just wanted the Felony body break that 120mph which was my goal. I'll run it again with the wing on with no changes to the car I made and we'll see if we can reach 120 or more again.👍🏽😉

I bought the infraction v2 and last week, just ordered the felony. I’m thinking about doing 2 different builds. One with the castle creations mamba monster x8s-1717-1650 and the spektrm 160 - 1250 kv combo .
I currently have the Spektrum 8S 1250kv system in my Infraction V2. Fits like a glove. Go ahead and rip that factory system out and go straight 8

You're all set. I have all three as well. And I must say I'm loving Arrma more and more. I don't bash a lot because you always break, fix, repeat. Tired of that. But road cars You're less likely going to break something unless you run in to a wall.
