I’ve been racing the 2022 KTM RC8C and it’s an absolute joy on track. The bike doesn’t have much in terms of electronics or rider aids, really keeps the riding experience very pure and fun!
@@Vral92 the GP2R is $34,000USD, the KTM RC8C bodywork is over $4000 alone, so you're pretty much paying for a RC8C with cooler looking bodywork + better looking Akrapovic exhaust system and the opportunity for the delivery experience (which to me is well worth it). If you don't care for the KTM experiences then, you're right better to just get the GP2R.
The only thing I hate about the Kramer GP2 is the top end power. Its very frustrating getting left by 636s halfway the straights on the basic tracks. Makes it a game to make up all the time you lost going down the straight and pass them coming out of the corner 3 corners later then getting popped on down the straight.
I hate these super-limited production runs. Turns a legitimately impressive feat of engineering into a useless novelty item for collectors that will basically never see actual track use.
I think you should try and hold your judgements a bit. I race a KTM RC8C actively in the CMRA series and I can tell you the vast majority of RC8C owners track and race them. We’re not Ducati riders. ;)
I’ve seen one of these at a track day and the owner was explaining how difficult it was to actually get his hands on one and btw the sound is brutal!!! The videos do not do it justice. AMAZING BIKE👍👍
That's a great bike I always liked the street version of it. Hated when they stopped racing in Moto America. It's was great finally meeting you at COTA last week.
It's a rocket out of the corners and in the corners and that's about it honestly. I don't regret it but it's frustrating down the straights racing people on inline 4s.
@@djones98501 exactly and they really don't. Also this bike is a Kramer and they don't make street bikes whatsoever. This bike would suck on the street

I raced Ducati’s and this doesn’t excite me. The 1198’s were fun as they finally started to compete with the 1000’s, but this is simply a rich guys track bike. 135HP is like a worked 600!?
@@Motomillion Can't afford it right now but you bet I'll try to get one as soon as I can. This looks more fun to ride than the Panigale so I was just curious regarding it's price.
I think it's a better decision to KTM produce this kind of bike in upcoming years. Instead of making the road version of their GP prototype bike like Honda (RC213V-S) and Ducati ('06 Desmo GPRR) does, this kind of bike is more reasonable to buy and use. It has less power which is more safety for usual track day but the feeling and style looks like a real GP bike.😁😁😁
