- Today marks 30 years since the conclusion of the first tournament staged by the World Darts Council, the forerunner of the Professional Darts Corporation.
To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a list of 30 of the most iconic moments in PDC history.

The total build up in the "17 perfect darts" clip is just fantastic. Darts, legendary commentary & flabbergasted audience. What looked like a game just carrying on exploded! And then some more...
That clip had MVG in a perfect trance. So fluently, couldn't miss. Magic!

How can you not have the 2013 premier league final. It was the first time Mvg won a major against Phil and with one of the best finishes ever to close the match. Gwynnes commentary on it is just legendary

As mentioned below the video misses the 2013 prem final. But to leave out the consecutive 9 darters in 09 en 10 in the world championships by Barney is a shame as well. The 9 in the worlds was the elusive holy grail for years in the PDC. Everybody thought Phil would be the first. Then Barney became the first and second to do it. Also the difference in celebration in both years was quite special :p. Other than that: fine compilation!

I know it is not always this way, but the sportsmanship shown in darts makes me love this sport all the more. These are all great clips, but the Wade/Thornton nine-darters is my favorite.

Can someone tell me why if they have let’s say 18 left they always go for D9 instead of just an 18?
You have to end a set with a double. Can’t end anyway else, that’s why when you see the little prediction thing next to their name the last one is always a double.
2 9 Darters in one match and the first double in double out were against wade. i guess the first 9er at a World Cup doubles will be against england with wade

Too much Taylor, too few MvG moments in these series. Mvg taking revenge on RvB with the greatest dartinh performance till this day in 2017 should be added, along with his total domination that whole year.

Wade doesn't like 9 darters or should that be looking happy for the other player who got it. he doesn't give them a look.
He keeps his concentration like everyone does. Why should he like that his opponent is throwing a 9? They're in a serious competition, not playing in a pub.
