- Today I compared the m4a4 to the m4a1s in CS2 to see which one is better in the current meta.
I think it's no surprise that the m4a1s is currently said to be better, but yet several people still use the m4a4, which is exactly why I made this video

Best way to practice spray patterns is to be training with as many weapons as possible when/if practising sprays.
Like play on a recoil map and you be doing 6x sprays with AK, 6x Spays with A4 and 6x sprays with S1 and repeat.
Should throw in famas and Galil aswell. But I would personally focus those 3 weapons first and constantly be rotating between them to train the muscle memory for each weapons.
Also A4 is like 2/3 the size of AK's vertical spray pattern, while S1 is like 1/3 the size of the A4 vertical spray pattern and not nearly as wide.
Spraying weapons is awesome when you can do spray transfers.

although.. If you are planing early on to do an aggressive play, you be better of choosing the A4, due to more bullets.
If you are planing to play defensive and hold angles, S1 is the better option. Due to its silent and the bullets has half the spread VS A4 that will recoil to the moon!
Conclusion, learn them both!
Personally I prefer the A4 as it fits my aggressive playstyle better.

M4A4 is the better gun for most situations. M4A1-S is better for spamming smokes and cheaper. If you like holding angles and play anchor positions the A4 is better but everyone just has both equipped anyway so we don't really have to choose. Actually both guns have the same accuracy these days, they nerfed the A1 accuracy a while back already, it just has less recoil but that doesn't help when tapping and bursting which kinda makes the A1 worse at long distance because it also does less damage.
If there’s anything I’ve learned about the m4S recently, is that it all depends on what you’ve learned to use
@@InfernoRGJust learn both it's always useful, the spray is basically the same just with extra bullets and more recoil. Economy heavily favors the A1 in the current meta though.

Yeah 100% I should have practiced with the m4a4 beforehand. I didn’t really mean for it to be a comparison that should be taken seriously though. It was more like a blind test of the m4a4

@@InfernoRG Valve did this weird thing to mimic 128tick servers when it comes to spraying weapons. (yes there are oddly enough difference between 64 and 128tick spray patterns, the same way as nades were different).
So what Valve did is that the Vertical spray pattern is like 128tick but the horizontal one is like 64tick.
In short, most weapons got a tighter vertical spray while the horizontal is "wider".
Vertical is as tight as 128tick
Horizontal is as wide as 64tick
This might be why you feel like you can't properly use it anymore 🤔
