You could but it’s not at the point to where I feel it’d be necessary. But if you wanted then probably underneath the front driver and passenger carpet and trunk area would be a good place to start. Thanks for watching!
Love the video and the sound Is amazing! I got my GR86 A couple months ago. How can I find the same exhaust and was it made for this car and year im new to the after market scene
Appreciate it! And he ordered it straight from Corsa’s website. Technically it’s for the Gen 1 but it works perfectly for the 2nd Gen. But it’s under 2020 BRZ. Thanks for watching!
Drone isn’t too bad, above 75 you’ll notice it quite a bit but at or below 75, there’s not boomy drone and only notice it is when you start to dip into the gas to pass someone. the best way I can put it is, pleasantly in the background. Hope that helped Thanks for watching!
Hey this is Austin, and I just wanted to make a small update on the drone. It only noticeably drones at 70-75 mph. Blows 70 or higher than 75 this is no drone that I can hear. It’s a small gap but for some reason it drones there.
Thanks for the nice video. Are you sure this is configured for a 2022? I think the reason the instructions don’t address the factory donut gasket and springs is because those may be 2022 changes, whereas this system was designed for 1st Gen vehicles. The springs allow the exhaust to flex with some movement and most of the cat back systems retain the donut gasket, so I’m surprised it wasn’t needed and makes me think that could be something Corsa revises the system to work with, along with the springs. Who knows. Sounds good.
The Corsa website explicitly supports the 2022 for this catback. They should update the instructions to document the new gen cars though. The instruction manual in the website (and in the box probably) still only says 2012-2015 which is kinda shitty.
@@Gingerlata could you load a clip on youtube? And could you also show if tips are centered or how we can "regulate" them? Sorry for my not perfect english :)
There are a few videos out there on how to do that - there's a plug you have to disconnect beneath the dash panel that faces the passenger door. Remove the panel, pop the clips out holding it in place, and unplug. Only takes 5 minutes or so.
It probably only weighs about 5lbs less than the stock system. The muffler is smaller and lighter but then you add the exhaust tips which are beefier than the stock ones and the mid pipe was only slightly lighter. As far as performance the only noticeable thing is throttle response at least from the seat of the pants feeling.
Corsa has an anti-drone technology - had it on my C6 Corvette - great for driving without drone!!! I'll be getting this Corsa on my 24 BRZ tS when I get it in August 2024.
In person it’s even better. The start up’s sound great every time and on throttle you can actually hear it compared to stock. And appreciate it man! Thanks for watching!
@@drivenmad2089 I don't know why these manufacturers are piping in fake sound. Ford does it with their Ecoboost, BMW does it as well. It's a bit loud, doesn't sound bad. I see alot disabling it.

I’ve had this exhaust for over a year and I’m glad I went with corsa
Well done audio differences. Most on here could learn a thing or two from this, including myself.
Well…. glad I stumbled on this video. Looks like Corsa is on my short list. Great job guys on the sounds. A couple drive by’s would be sweet.
The Corsa with a JDL UEL Header is remarkable. Or just a JDL dual res front pipe. You can’t go wrong with either
Really appreciate all the different angles and examples of the exhausts, especially back to back!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching!
This car is on the short list. I should probably "place and order" soon if I want to see it in my driveway this year. Nice sound clips BTW
It’s such a fun car dude! It’ll be worth it.

Corsa and a UEL catted header is perfect.
I think you should unplug the fake exhaust sound speaker that is inside the car. its behind the dash end panel on the passenger side.
That exhaust sounds sweet! So nice dude!
It does sound good! And no crazy drone which is a bonus.
Thanks for watching!
nice shifting man great stuff
😂
You guys had some Seinfeld and Cuztanza walkman tape rewinding moments there. 😄
I recommend for the future when taking the old exhaust off to remove the hangars with the exhaust. That makes it easier to put the new exhaust on
Best sounding one so far
How about adding more sound deadening material to reduce some cabin noise ?

Nice! Sounds similar to the 4AGE from the original AE86.
I like this sound.
It's amazing!

The only missing how is a header.
Do I want this or AWE Touring? Tough choices.

I’m definitely gonna have to consider this exhaust
Is the car stock? (Other than the exhaust)
Well you’re obviously not mechanics LOL…but you guys did a great job! 👍🏻
Haha yeah definitely not. Unfortunately 4 years of auto class in high school didn’t really teach me anything 😂

@@drivenmad2089 Haha! I did the same thing!
This is my favorite sounding exhaust but I hear it’s heavier than stock by 6 lbs. 😢I will probably go with the new Borland s-type when it comes out.
It’s not heavier than the stock exhaust. It’s not much lighter but it definitely isn’t heavier.
Thanks for watching!
i hope we can hear more of that exhaust sound😄
For sure! We have a bunch of plans to track both this and my 350R.

Turn off your sound sim, sounds good from the outside though, this one is convincing. Torn between this, the perrin, and fujistsubo. How is the drone?

do you know if you can turn off the artificial engine noise?
Yes, I believe it’s a fuse that you have to pull if I’m not mistaken

Yep right off of corsa’s website…
www.corsaperformance.com/collections/2020-subaru-brz-coupe-2-0l/products/2-5-sport-cat-back-14864
With it being for Last Gen, it didn't set off any lights or sensors?
Nope, everything’s working great. 0 issues
Does it drone at all at highway speeds?
Above 70-75 yes but it’s not extremely loud but you’re aware it’s there. But at 70 or so it’s pretty close to stock.
are your corsa tips uneven? they were uneven on my last gen and I want to put it on my gr86.
