De la Riva Guard Recovery Drill + 2 Sweep Options

Andre Galvao Black Belt and Assistant Instructor at the Maverick Training Center Atos Jiu-Jitsu Huntsville Evan Ramsden demonstrates a drill for recovering the De la Riva Guard when the opponent attempts to knee cut pass. Once in the recovery position, the opponent is vulnerable to a wide array of sweeps you can attack as well other than just resetting to guard. Here we teach just 2 of many possible attacks.

MAnnnnnn the sweep to knee cut is so simple yet so effective! I was trapped doing always berimbolo, but it looks so much more effective to go to knee cut. Thanks!
