My girl is 11 and I'm 65..when I take a nap she's down for it anytime and just snuggles right in but I do miss her shenanigans of her younger days cuz I would always give in and play

I remember the one time I slept with a doxie growing up. Guess who had all the covers in the morning!

When we were camping as children, we slept with dachshunds, and they never bothered us or even woke us up. I still have them, and at night, if a mouse or a rat happens to wander into the garden, they've signed their death warrant. And all this without making a sound, for fear of waking us up. I've scolded them several times so that they respect our sleep, and now, even if they have to bark at a mouse hiding somewhere, they do it very quietly, for fear of waking us up. Better than a Dachshund?
Two dachshunds, and more if you can, you'll never regret it, except when one of them disappears.

although my dog is amazingly dominant and pushy- she will respect when I close my eyes on the couch to sleep. She will leave me alone or oftentimes come to sleep next to me. Guess I must be lucky. LOL
Please provide Theo a ramp, not a stool, not stairs. But a ramp.
He’s adorable but you do realize he thinks hour playing, right? He is getting a reaction from you, which he thinks is funny, so he keeps doing it. If you want to legit take a nap on the couch with a Doxie on the loose, try turning away on your side facing the couch. Hide your face entirely so he can’t lick it and play dead. When he won’t get you to react, he will lose interest in the fun game and find something else to do.
I had to put down my beautiful little boy Max he was my beautiful little Dutch hound he was 14 years old he was such a good dog good personality he was so sweet and I did have him cremated and the people that done it did a beautiful job beautiful Ernie was in wooden one with flowers carved in it and his paw print was put in a little box where you can put his little picture beautiful beautiful but I sure do miss him I just had him put down June 9th so it's been hard but I've got two other little dogs got my little Yorkie and then I have a mixed Yorkie and something else I don't know what Maggie is but she's so cute too but I do know that they're missing him just as much as I do

@@theothedachshund thank you so much I really appreciate that it's hard to lose one of your babies special when you found for 14 years but he's he's better off now he went blind couldn't hear and then he got the cancer on his thyroid he's better off he knew I loved him and he loves his mama tell you thank you so much I appreciate that
