Thanks a bunch for posting this. The video was well-paced and clear on everything you need to know on handling this work and was a massive help for my uninformed arse xD.
Don't touch the bulb! Use gloves or fresh paper towels to handle the glass of the bulb if you must. The oils from you fingers can damage the bulb. If your bulb keeps going out, this may be what you're doing wrong. Otherwise great video! Thanks!
The sylvania - XtraVision is a nice small upgrade, that gives u very small 3% increase in brightness. The color temperature will give u 3320k. But I would rather upgrade with led bulbs. Highly recommend Lasfit - LC plus led bulbs. They are 2 and a half times brighter than stock. They retain the same beam pattern as the original halogen headlights. And with that 360 adjustable collar or a friction fit, this will give u the ability to fix the orientation for facing the led chips left and right or 3-9 o’clock for best beam pattern. For those XtraVision, they last I think around 800-1000 hours of lifespan. And the LC plus is 30,000 hours of lifespan. Halogen bulb draws 55W and led bulb draws 25W. So it’s much more efficient design. Price is $30 a pair for halogen, and led bulbs are $50 per pair. It’s way better with led bulb upgrades and will last way longer. Especially for the heat management. Halogen bulb gets hot as 750 degrees Fahrenheit. And the LC plus led bulbs gets up to 123 degrees Fahrenheit. Better benefits than halogen.
Please make sure the bulb is inserted in correct position. Please see the clip at 2:24 and you will see what I meant. There is a latch to hold the bulb holder in place.

I tried replacing the bulb with 9006 but was unable to make it fit and secure.

I had the same issue today was it just the clip or is the bulb supposed to be a 9005?
@@uswr2848 The one I used is 9006 for low beam light for 2004 Model. Make sure you have the correct model. I believe 9005 is for high beam light.
You could of done this in 2 minutes if you bothered saying anything.
Thank you for the good comment!
