The rockabilly scene was big time in London in 80s and it’s only kind of recently it’s taken off in the US, was better in the 80s in London than it is now, it’s all a retro scene today
The Ford Econoline in this video (and most other straight-axle cars) are technically NOT "gassers", they're what are known as "street freaks". Don't mean to be a know-it-all, it just happens to be something I learned recently from David Frieburger and he made it a point that I should correct anyone on this particular popular misconception.

We much prefer the 80's-90s scene, but we enjoy the modern scene as well. When we visited High Rockabilly a few years back it was great.
I wish I could've gone as there's nobody to go with me. Maybe next year.
