A sick forecast pulled me to Denmark, prime goal was training but at times the wind got that sketchy and strong nothing else but straight jumps could be done. Here are a few of the biggest i did.
Thanks Lewis, well you know as always got my dad present to capture all my sessions. We got most of the jumps that day captured on video. Although the live show is always best but happy I could share the experience with my fanbase🤙
Thanks bro, training is prime for me, the spot the others went, is gnarly and dangerous in those conditions. The day before an experienced Belgian kiter died there during his session. I just prefer flat for training highly technical tricks. Jumps are nice but no use in competition. So that's why I wasn't at Hanstholm, for training it wouldn't have been the place to be.
Yeah but don't like the fisheye effect which creates the illusion of being higher than one for real is. That's one of the reasons pov is not accepted in competition entry videos
Because the use of Aluula improves the stifness and stability of the airframe and can also improve the turning speed of the kite. In the conditions I am riding it will be absolutely neccesary to use Aluula to keep up with the currently leading products on the market. It will prevent jellyfishing or even collapsing of the Airframe in very strong winds and increased turning speed will make the kite turn faster in a smaller circle and as a result it will be faster back at 12 o'clock to catch the rider. I know all the brands are at some point working on prototypes with Aluula or have already released factory models with this material.
@@Jamie_Overbeek these are really interesting stats, that for me puts you in the #1 kiter in the world spot. Sure, some others may get a fluke gust and go a bit higher, but you're consistantly putting in MONSTER jumps. Amazing.
Insane! Keep the vids comming! Maybe you can add a GoPro so we can see the jumps from your point of view? =)
Thanks for posting this video Jamie. We of course can see all the WOO data but it's amazing to watch the sessions as well

You are a legend 🤙🏻
Thanks 🙏
How important is/would aluula be for you?
Extremely important 🤙
@@Jamie_Overbeek why? do you believe it really is such a gamechanger for the future of (pro) kiteboarding?

Thanks for this detailed answer, learn something everyday
Do you use different board size in storms or always same size
Always the same, a 132 cm Ozone Code V3
sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (first😊)
💪😀🤙
Rocket 🚀 ⚡️
Good job 👍💪🤙 try to beat the new record? 😉
If there is a storm at a suitable spot I will give it a go but it's not my prime objective anymore.
Nice 👍
Wow 😅
Any idea on how high you jumped?!!!!🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Over 2 days 16 times over 30 of which 15 times in just one day.
4 times over 34, one time 35,1, one time 35,5 and cherry on the cake 36,1 mtr.
Wat vet!

@@Jamie_Overbeek Ik zou het helemaal niet erg vinden om ze allemaal te zien. Of komt dat nog?

@@Jamie_Overbeek Thank you :) i am from Hamburg so i can reach it :)
Holly shit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀
Yes that was my response with some of the jumps while I was up there😂😉
Massive, perfect spot for it too with that flat water 🚀🚀
Yes including Barcares in France probably this is the second best flat water spot for massive boosting with West wind.
