These tutorials and the images are in so much detail, it is phenomenal. I always try with less settings, but the subtle details really make it pop and you can actually tell when they are missing. Incredible.
fdrsnay007...Your Photoshop Color Profiles are different than mine. The Source profile should be "sRGB" (standard RGB). Click Edit>Convert to Profile. Select "Adobe(ACE)" as the engine and "Perceptual" as the intent in the "Conversion Options" box. Check "Black Point Compensation" & "Use Dither". Click "OK" to apply the new profile.
Like everyone else says, your tutorials are amazing! I am very thankful for them all, keep up the good work! :)
thật là tuyệt! cám ơn bạn đã chia sẻ.
beutiful, thats something its really wonderful tutorial, your explanation is good, thank you
Ahahah Marty Go Wild!! 👌🏻☺️
There seems to be a problem with me :( your tutorial is amazing and it helped a lot. but following your steps i had a problem with the background, it's different than yours, the effect i used (hue&saturation and colour balance) was applied to the black background more than i can see in your photo, is this normal? i can send you a screenshot in inbox. Please reply ASAP! I got a final to hand in for a photoshop course and i had this idea about apocalypse and exploding planets in space and i really love your tutorial it helped a lot! Thank you in advance!
He makes this clear enough
awesome! but it looks more like a neutron star.
i cant use hue/saturation? plz help
To fast!
XXxx19JordaN93xxXX...Possible reasons: Your foreground and background colors are both black. The copied black background isn't active. The adjustment layers at the top of your layers panel are clipping.
your videos are so clear and the description are so complete that i can draw exactly the same thing with only listening to you guide speech. thats amazing
thanks
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?
I was stupid lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Sylas Aaron Instablaster :)
@Hezekiah Turner I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Hezekiah Turner It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
@Sylas Aaron You are welcome :D
Konstigkanal...If you recreate it and not use mine, I don't see a problem. Where and how would it be used?
fdrsnay007...It's possible your Image mode is CMYK. Go to Image > Moe > RGB (8 Bits / per channel).
Marty has anybody told you that you sound exactly like the narrator on the tv doc series called "Forensic Files". Wow crazy.
Great tutorials btw!
Aqua8Mann...it's okay to have a bit a texture on the outside of the circle, since the radial "spikes" are there. You may want to redo the circular selection inside the planet, as well as the amount of feathering.
David Benner...Your PSD file would have to be looked at to see the source of the problem. It's usually a minor error. Make sure the layer that you want to fill with black is active.
Marlon Vidal...Thanks! Presently, the closest tutorial I did on disintegration is the "splatter effect". Go to my channel and in the "Search Channel" field, type in "splatter effect".
At Blur > Radial Blur 06:00 part why isn't working? The one who affects is the lava explosion
Help
UltimateSmackTalker I know
Roger kun...10 years or so.
Make sure the layer that you want to effect is active.
Marty your BLTV tuitions are always so clear to follow and always deliver exactly what they claim. Excellent!
Kylo Ren Disliked for misleading title.
lol! XD XD XD XD
XD rofl!
Lando Freire...The link works on my end.
Roger kun...you'll be an expert in no time!
OMG, polar coordinates and WIND! i haven't used wind since photoshop 4!! or... polar coordinates, either. wow! ;D and you made them USEFUL! top marks :)
my uncle did this, but added stars and put the planet in the top right corner, and added a comet. it looks sick!
Another Awesome Video!! SO Easy to follow and I really enjoy them. Keep them coming
You are amazing and your tutorials are really good!! Please upload more :) Thank you so much! Greetings from Greece
Good video, TU!
I actually said, "Oh NO" when you made a change. Reminds me of when I used to watch Bob Ross - he would have a great painting going then he would make this big change in it and I would say, "Don't do it Bob!" and of course it turned out much better. You take something that couldn't get better, and then you make it better...and then again! love it. Thanks
Rattja...Thanks! :-)
You're amazing ! Your tutorials are the best i've seen. They are precise and very interesting. Thx Marty.
I am your big fan ........ love you so much
You are a master of the universe !Thank you once more for the clear tutorial.
Marty you are really good... thanks for the video...
Well.. that was impressive; best tutorial i've seen in a long time my jaw dropped at how good it was. I don't even use Photoshop but with your guidance i'm sure i could to anything.
who thought that this video is how to make planets explode in real not in Photoshop XD ?
Its actually pretty easy, just drop some neutronium and anti neutronium into the planet's core and wait for the matter-anti matter explosion while messing with the natives....
Awesome work, so far I did that ice planet and this one and I love it :D Thx for an amazing explanation. Keep up the good work.
Hi Marty!
I’ve enjoyed immensely every video tutorial you have posted.
As a self-taught photoshopper, your tutorials taught me I’ve established bad habits and lack an understanding of why things are done certain ways.
With all due respect...I can Monkey See, Monkey Do the steps in your tutorials but fall flat on my face when trying to achieve original effects.
I’m not whining or sniveling. I purchased a full copy of CS6 and am thoroughly enjoying my successes and failures.
Can you recommend a video, link or some other form of study material that might help me pick up the basics of photoshop I never learned?
Perhaps another way of asking is...How do you teach yourself new tricks?
:-)
Marty - your tutorials are so good that it puts fantastic effects like this in the hands of novices like me....
That's the idea! :-)
Amazing and well explained on every step! Worth the watch
Hello Blue Lightning TV. If you happen to see this I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me. I love how on the planet it has light coming through the cracks. I would like to achieve the same effect but on a 2d background. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear back from you!
Hi Marty Guess it a long time someone has tried this Tutorial hope you don't mind id I try this Tutorial but in Adobe After Effects I'll send you a copy on your Facebook page..
Everything works fine until I reverse the polar coordinates back to how they originally were. Then I get this weird grey elliptical shape around the planet, and there are duplicates of the planet on the screen. I followed everything you said in the video but it keeps happening, even when I removed the black background. Some help? :(
One of the best PS tutorials I've watched on UA-cam... Good work!
You know a lot of this stuff is actually intersting for 3D artists/texture artists, too. You might find/expand your audience with some game related content. This is awesome!
I think i missed something somewhere. When I add the Hue and Color Balance it turns my black background those colors too. What did I miss? Thanks in advance love your work.
once again, every tutorial video from you is, awesome! , stray to the point, clear, and easy to follow, thank you
Good show Marty. Great job! Couldn't have explained it better….
Kindly sir can you please tell me how i can change the effect colour blue and red the blue is crack part and red inside the line so effect colour is blue and Red plz tell me and the wind effect colour is orange and red. Plz answer i am very thankful to you.
02-11-21 perfect 👍
For some reason Clouds are not in my render tab for photoshop, some one please tell me how to get clouds there. (I'm using Photoshop CS6)
cool video
5 minutes is all you have to escape this planet. :P Just saying. Lol. Nice job.
you are awasome bro
If I learn how to do it can be very helpful for me. thanks
Looks like a star, maybe the Sun? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
only stars can explode to supernova. planets explode don't turn into supernova, instead turn into fragment meteors
Why have I not found you earlyer? Been messing about on youtube trying to learn photoshop for a long time, and you sir is the best one yet.
Don't get me wrrong, people like Gavin are good, but this is so straight to the point.
"Do this, you get this." No extra or attempts to be funny, I like that.
Also, I really like your techniques, these vids are answering lots of questions I have been trying to figure out for a long time that has nothing to do with this planet.
Thank you!
Why my cursors never stay in the circle but that give me alway a cross by default how to fix that
Another Great tutorial. I'm learning so much. Thanks.
This is really interesting I'll like to use it for an original image I want to create you're tutorials help me a lot am new to Photoshop CS6 Extended - so new in fact I don't even know even know the use of half the icons on my screen! I follow your steps every step by step procedure an your tutorial helps.
WOW man JUST WOW!!! loved this one, i just subscribed today from the oil paint tutorial and started looking ur videos and i hate to say you are just a master, i would love to see you make a disntegration tutorial as i have been looking for one that is detailed explained and easy for the cs6 and you are the best that i've seen thanks for this tutorial =)
I have a problem with my colors they aren't exactly the same as this video or any video even if I choose the same red or blue the color on my Photoshop dose not match completely there's a slight differences like in the brightness of the color or something? (Im on cs6)
I am very interested in planets and stars. your helping
Awesome
I am so happy I discovered you. I'm almost crying xD
For 2017 version, use ctrl + alt + f (and not ctrl +f) :)
thanks
Love your tutorials Marty, they're always straight to the point!
magical
At 1:25 it says to click "control and F" to repeat the filter twice but when I do this it just brings a "discovery" box. I am using Windows 10?
In later versions of PS, it's Alt + Ctrl + F (Option + Cmd + F on a Mac).
Ok thank you!
Thank's, can you tutorial water woman?
Nice approach. Normally the planet is created via "Clouds" and "Difference Clouds". But this one looks more organic. Thanks.
I am so glad youtube has a pause button because my old photoshop from 2004 is taking it's time lol.
its already set RGB withs 8 Bits / per channel. But there is still that missing detail with a slight color brightness.
Is this will work on Portable Photoshop sir? I only have a netbook hehe
I really appreciate for made this video :)
However,When i had finish this work,i found the flares were pixelize T^T
How can i fix this problem??
If you can't understand what i say, then i'll send my image to you with your E-mail.
My final results look a bit crap too. Too pixelated. I wonder if it's a Photoshop version problem, or some default settings that aren't right. :( In addition to the pixelated edges, the center is too bright yellow and I'm losing detail.
When I add the radial blur, it doesn't look all smooth like yours, it's (sorta) pixelated, if this normal?
how you record this video name of the software
Sir pls,
Make a video on how to make a drinking glass .
When I hit ctrl + shif t+ u - nothing happens same with ctrl + I and ctrl L. What do I do?
At 7:11 when you did the clouds, i did the same but my background stayed black?
guys if any one using CS5 , remember to UNCHECK the preserve lumionsity @ 4:30
Fix* Make sure you have your background colour white, sorry for commenting so much e.e
Thank you very much for the tutorial!!!
Sir pls,
Make a video on page setup and printing.
HI, I LOVE your tutorials, and normally have no issues getting the same results... but for some reason, this one, I cannot get the same look of the "explosion" Mine is very "dissolve" looking.. any ideas what I may be doing wrong? your "outer explosion" appears much softer than mine :(
Your description sounds as if the Blend Mode is "Dissolve"
Hi. thank you for the quick reply. My first blend mode is like you state - hard light, and the second is to Disolve... but it all looks like disolve on the end :(
wow nice, thanks!
Excellent tutorial, very well done.
The Planet is perfect, thank you so much... I would like to show you what I did following your tutorials, but I can understand that you're not interested about. However, thank you very much Marty! :)
+Gilberto Pulga I'm interested in seeing it. You can join my Facebook Subscriber page and post it there.
facebook.com/BLTVsubscribers
When iv'e selected Background Copy, Filter>Render>Clouds, nothing happens...
I don't speak english, but is not a problem to follow your tutorial. Thanks
Hey Marti awesome tutorial, but I have a question: can the planet be shaped as a Heart? Because that's kinda what I'm trying to archive. If not, what would be your reccomendation? Thanks a lot! ^^
i am realy happy to have found this chanel
Marti this is fantastic tutorial, very powerful. I am reading the previous comments here, and they all sound so easy peasy. I fully do manage to finish the tutorial by following it step by step, but am I the only one who finds it very difficult to remember all these steps? Again, I am not faulting the tutorial at all really am not, but this photoshop thing feels something like a frigging rocket science. Needed to vent few tears anyway :)
+Dragan Tomas No worries. It takes time to learn PS. As long as you continue to diligently work on it, you'll eventually get to a point when it'll all make sense. Don't be hard on yourself. "A long journey begins with a single step". :-)
+Blue Lightning TV Thanks Marti for your good words mate. Cheers.
Oh it's a tut. I thought you harnessed the power of the Death Star.
