My favourite actress legend Joan Crawford
Beautiful tribute. To the best actress of Hollywood’s Golden Age. My friend turned me on to miss Crawford years ago and said look at her acting , you could read her emotions right in her eyes. Any genre she could do. But I personally love her in her forties. Beautiful woman and great dramatic actress

Absolutely stunning woman and one of the most iconic faces of twentieth-century cinema. I just cannot get over just how gorgeous and classically perfect her face was/is. The woman had a face made for the big screen. Anything short of that would simply not have done her justice.
Seriously, this is a work of art. It kills me that Joan's legacy has been so tarnished by "Mommie Dearest". She was such an overwhelming talent- the definition of a true "movie star". I loved your song choice and the clips you chose (especially how they spanned throughout her entire career- from her silent days all the way to her last few films). Your editing was excellent as well- I adored your use of overlays and how you worked it with the music. Perfect This is an incredible tribute to Joan and all that she was on-screen. I hope you continue to make more tributes to her

+shoopdancer2504 I think Joan's charm, personality and skill as an actress will stand the test of time and live on long after Christina is gone. I don't think she truly understood her mother and her manic depressive side, and could have possibly been jealous of her and her career, and felt second fiddle to it. I never read the book, but felt the movie was horribly exaggerated and that Christina really only focused on the negative things to get a real, final punch in the end and sell books, and also cash in on a situation that didn't include her in Joan's will. I'm sure she made a handsome sum on book and movie residuals,..makes you wonder if the book would have been so extreme had she'd been left in her mother's will in the first place.

Jessica Lange is going to be playing Joan Crawford in a new Ryan Murphy anthology series entitled Feuds. It chronicles famous feuds and they will be delving into the feud between Joan and Bette Davis on the set of Whatever happened to baby Jane. Once again great work.

@@fool4singing the movie was campy garbage and basically ruined Dunaway's career. People in theaters laughed at the over the top scenes like the wire hangers.
Joan seemed to be going through a private hell . There's no denying she had a drinking problem . Watching a couple of old video clips of her public appearances late in life , it was evident .
Christina sunk about as low as a human being could by profiting of her mother's corpse .
I hate that her book turned so many people against Joan .To this day they are still walking all over her grave .
I still have an appreciation for the great actress she was and the classic movies she left us

Wonderful tribute to Joan who was such a fantastically talented actress with a great range and diversity. I loved how she constantly reinvented herself. It’s great that people are begging to appreciate her again. I’ve always hated that her legacy was tarnished by the lies of Christina. Cathy and Cindy both said the things Christina claimed never took place. She also didn’t make her accusations until after Joan passed, giving her no chance to refute them. This was incredibly put together, thank you so much.
God but she was stunningly beautiful circa 1929 -33. Sublimely beautiful....

This video is perfect and the song choice is perfect. I have been a Joan fan for many years and it´s nice to see that people start to lok at her differently after FEUD. Jessica Lange is brilliant as Joan and her multifacetted portrait of her have people search for information beyond the " Mommie Dearest" , which I lke because her films are terrific.

That clip of Crawford running down the hallway -- what a stunningly beautiful woman she was! Also, love the clip of her when she's crying in Strait-Jacket, I believe it was. PERFECTION crying, her acting, in that clip -- Streep couldn't have done it any better (truthfully). I've seen so many actors cry on screen and it's just not realistically done (and this has often come from very highly lauded actors too). I get pissed when people say that Crawford couldn't act, because at her best (and I'll copy what Blake Edwards said in regard to Audrey Hepburn's talent as an actress): Crawford sure was a talented actress. She sure knew what the hell she was doing.

.. One of my proudest possessions ever is Joan signing original ultra for Mildred Pierce I know it's original but Jessica Lounge was brilliant. When Janet Meadows dreadful horror films she made herself look younger how I want evening what happened to Baby Jane she look younger and younger and younger how Bette Davis hated her I know why if all of you want the truth I'll tell you Joan Crawford was very pro gay Betty Davis hated gay men Leatherface that that she is so safe Betty Davis would not allow gay men or lesbians on the said lighting sound etc Joe everybody by name date of birth and bought them birthday presents Betty Davis swans around with a cigarette in her hand I know Joan may or may not have been a bit of a cow as a mother but look at the way she talked the walk all the rest of it Bette Davis the basically genus she was frumpy. Love the song, Love Lange, Love Joan, however the song just doesn't fit Joan's esthetic .
Fascinating, however, she wasn't that pretty.
What a horrible song about the devil Lucifer hating God! Well, God wins in the end and the Dragon/Lucifer in the garden of Eden will be cast into the pit of Hell where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth!
