Hi in bojack horseman, a whole episode is a monologue. It's also known as mother of monologues. It's in the episode named: "Free Churro". 😁 Please dedicate it in part-4
Please include Danny DeVito from Big Kahuna....."The question is do you have any character at all? And if you want my honest opinion, Bob, you do not, for the simple reason that you don't regret anything yet" "You're saying I won't have any character unIess I do something I regret?" "No, Bob. I'm saying you've already done plenty of things to regret. You just don't know what they are. It's when you discover them, when you see the folly in something you've done and you wish that you had it to do over, but you know you can't because it's too late. So you pick that thing up and you carry it with you to remind you that life goes on, the world will spin without you, you really don't matter in the end. Then you will attain character because honesty will reach out from inside and tattoo itself all across your face."
“You’re nothing to me but customers.” You can hear the pain in his voice, trying to convince himself that what he’s saying is true. Such a beautiful piece of acting
I was enthralled by that scene I have never even seen the movie. But I love the contradiction how he states you’re all just customers to me that was so much emotion. What is this movie
I don't think Aaron Paul gets enough credit for Breaking Bad. Personally he is the my favourite character on the show, his acting is phenomenal but only 1 Golden Globe nomination.. shame
Jesse pinkman in my opinion was the most normal person in the show. Everything that happened to him he regrets. He not only lives as a recovering addict but as a murderer.
Gotta love that Aunt May scene from Spiderman. The way she talks...the look...she is telling Peter without saying it: "I know it's you. You have to be the Hero everyone needs you to be."
Love that scene with Taraji P. Henson & Kevin Costner in Hidden Figures. POWERFUL! She totally owned the required frustration/anger in restraint (with class and style)… over the ridiculous Jim Crow laws still being implemented by our federal agencies at the time. BRAVO! 🙌🏾💕🇺🇸
The last monologue is the best ever! Still unmatched to this day. Al Pacino’s superb performance here got him finally the Oscar he rightly deserves. The length the substance the intensity you will be glued up until the end. The script and dialogues are fantastic on point no pretentious all out!! Truly the best monologue ever and will unlikely be unmatched in a lifetime. Truly saving the best for last! They should play this clip on schools to awaken and bring integrity back to everyone
This is the OPPOSITE of what they preach at schools. Everything is about anti bullying (not a bad thing, obviously) but the flip side of this is that it's ALL about snitching (tell a teacher, tell a parent, tell if you experience it, tell if you witness it) - exactly what this speech is arguing against. It's a fine line and for many people - especially children - it's difficult to know when it's "right" to tell, do something yourself or just leave it alone. Do you call the police if you see your neighbor (a friend) using illegal herbicides or pesticides on his garden? Do you you talk to him about it yourself? Do you even care or ask to borrow it? What if he's beating his kids? If you see someone breaking into the house across the street, do you call the police? Do you yell across the road that you're armed and they'd better push off? Or do you just check the locks and go back to bed since you don't like that neighbor - or maybe the person breaking in is a friend of yours? Unfortunately, there's rarely black and white in this world - just endless shades of gray.
I like him also in the Scent of women at the end. Al Pacino is outstanding, but also the other actors I have seen in this series are among the greatest of all times.
I’m surprised that there hasn’t been anything from Brando. Or De Niro (I think that De Niro is better than Pacino, personally.). Or even James Woods (Once Upon A Time In America.).
Robin Williams OMG!!! It's way easier to touch someone with drama. But this man, Drama, comedy, everything!!! His impressions were absolutely exquisite. So sad he left this void, because nobody will ever deliver like him
A great & articulate monologue feels like the most purest form of acting & showcasing extremely talented people. Thank you for letting me relive these fine performances.
Will Smith had a monologue in Part 1 of this series for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Part 1 was way superior than the rest of the following parts. If you haven't suggest you give it a try.
I miss knowing that Robin Williams walks this Earth. What’s That? Robins coming out in a new movie, Fantastic, can’t wait to see it! What’s that Robin showed up dressed as Christopher Reeves Proctologists just to make his friend smile. This man supported forty or fifty different charities. I don’t know what demons he was fighting, I wasn’t fortunate enough to ever have met him, but, I miss him, the world, My World is less without him in it.😓
@GENERAL DISARRAY'S BOSS 83 man if you’re gonna drag a dead hero through the mud at least use evidence. Let us be happy he brought joy, somtimes that’s all someone needs. Spread peace and love my friend.
I met him once. Which is to say I shook his hand and wished him a Merry Christmas, and he forgot me 3 seconds later, as I was one of maybe 500 people he shook hands with that day. It was my first deployment, and he was there on a USO tour that he had put together. Just one of the 40 or 50 charities he supported.
Will Smith often underrated as an actor but with the monologue here shows otherwise ... from the episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air listed in Part 1 of these Monologues in which shows even at a young age his ability to bring forth his abilities.
Words are important, yes. But who says those words, who interprets them? Words unspoken are only halfway there. I mean, who would have thought that Mel Gibson could do Hamlet, considered by many to be the most difficult role in theater? And how does he compare with Laurence Olivier, Kenneth Branaugh, and others?
God Jesse is such a tragic character. It’s so heartbreaking that he can only see the bad. That he can never even think about becoming better and doing better things because of the things he’s done.
i watched all 3 parts of this, and it was excellent. However it omitted one of the greatest monologues of all time. That being Robert Shaw"s speech about the USS Indianapolis in the movie Jaws.
These omitted several monologues that are equal, or better! What pops to mind is the “contender” scene from On the Waterfront. Or the history of Elwood P. Dowd meeting “Harvey” for the first time. The magical blend of actor and screenplay can be powerful and memorable. Hell, give me a “Mr. Tibbs” moment from Sydney Poitier, and we’ve got a conversation!

Yea but it falls into Kevin white savior trope also wtf dose she need to explain herself like wtf It plays into blacksplotstion a little . Not a lot but a little
Yes Al Pacino's dialogue in the end of The Devil's Advocate is probably one of my all-time favorites of any movie that I've ever seen. Because it's very true in a way.......
1993 written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott. ‘’True romance’’ The scene between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper. Was some of the most captivating dialogue I’ve seen to date.
Two of the greatest monologues I can think of right off the top of my head.... Sean Penn discussing the death of his daughter in Mystic River..... And Billy Bob Thornton's opening monologue in sling blade
Oh shit I just watched that and was like Tom did ok But then I watched that version and was like Dam I ain’t even British but I’ll be just fine if the British try and retake America if they be giving speeches like this and Churchill’s we will Fight them the only speech I think comes close to them was MLK’s k it actually is way better but he’s African American so as an African American he paced my way so yea I gotta put it first but I was like hell he’s after listening to the band of brothers speech
Why has that sad music been added to it it’s the power is in the words not the scene, it the word we should focus on the music takes away from the words
I agree. The worst part is that the same generic "sad music" was added at to at least 3 different monologues here and for zero reason. They change the original scenes and add nothing.
Thank you for all of these! They are great. My two cents: I think adding your own music takes away from some of these. They all stand on their own-this goes without saying. But it is also my belief that they all stand BEST when seen and experienced in their natural, original format. Especially when you used the same track a few times in a row. I would be curious to know why you thought that adding and recycling generic emotional music to some of the best monologues of all time was necessary. Thanks again for all you do.
Agreed, cheapens the scenes, makes the compilation feel silly. Immersion is lost in my opinion, but I'm sure there are enough easy people out there that don't care, so who am I to say what works
the scent of a woman scene is one of my favourites of all time. another good one is phillip seymour hoffman in charlie wilson's war in the office. haven't seen the other parts so not sure if it's already been show
All of these show how amazing each of these actors are. They stand out in their field. I looked a good way through the comments and did not see even one for Mel Gibson. I think that this is one of the best portrayals of this role. I also seen that some people suggested a scene monologue that they think is worthy so I will do so too. Matthew McConaughey's closing in A Time to Kill.
I love these Compilations. I'm a Filmstudent myself and love to remind myself of the amazing acting but also the phenomenal writing of these Scenes themselfes! Maybe one little Thing for ne next part... what if you put the Filmtitle, the Actor who is playing and the Year it got released on the Bottom Corner. I mean you got it in the Infobox (sadly not in the right order) but its way easier & more quickly for the Viewer to find the Movies. :)
Spencer tracy inherit the wind, Guess who's coming to dinner -spencer tracy again, Hell you could likely fill an entire one of these with his monologes, he gave tons of them.
Will Smith deserves an Oscar, the way he is able to convey sadness and happiness in both pursuit of happiness and collateral beauty is something else entirely.
Mel Gibson does not get enough credit for his take on Hamlet, which is my favorite rendition of the character. Hamlet is often characterized as a deeply indecisive overthinker with some instability. Mel Gibson’s Hamlet was unhinged and terrifying, the kind of person you would be laughing one minute and stabbing you the next. =
Y'know, change comes in silence. It comes in a whimper, not a bang. The "drama" music takes out the impact out of the speeches. If folks really need that cushion, then they ain't ready for the speeches.
Im no actor but i absolutely love these videos. P.S. one of my favorites is Morgan Freemans last conversation with Clint Eastwood in Million Dollar Baby
two seconds in to the second monologue I was surprised that both these seperate productions used the same music blew my mind, only to realise that it was added afterwards. Keep the original please.
While I appreciate the music(which is awesome), I find it a little distracting from the monologues. Just my two cents. Great compilations! You are fantastic!
Still waiting for Ellen Burstyn's monologue from "Requiem for a Dream". I'd put that as #1. Also, honorable mention, Rambo's monologue in First Blood. "Nothing is over! [...]".
these are great! I really like watching them. I know the majority of the movies but captions of the movie titles at the beginning of the monologues would be great :)
All parts posted are excellent, but, I know the true music score. Is it certain movies have copyrighted scores? The Devil’s Advocate music behind Pacino’s rant is amazing. Thanks for compiling these.
You could give many classic actors their own videos. Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Gregory Peck, Marlon Brando, Gary Cooper, Henry Fonda and so many more.
"I believe there's a hero in all of us" Gives me chills.. The way she delivered that line was perfect.. I don't care how young and attractive the next Aunt May is, this is the only Aunt May I'll ever recognize
Al Pacino is Awesome! “There’s nothing more tragic than an amputated SOUL”…. Gotta Love this platform. Go Will Smith to truly underrated. All good stuff!

Scent of a Woman is so underrated. Al Pacino can carry a scene like very few other actors. He's got so much presence and wow that volume in his voice.
Ain't nobody given Taraji no love but I watched that thing twice. It was great.
yeah, shes a great actor and did really well in hidden figures 🙏🏾
You're right. She absolutely nailed it. I recently watched this movie (again), and once again, I was moved by that scene.
Yea but it falls into Kevin white savior trope also wtf dose she need to explain herself like wtf It plays into blacksplotstion a little . Not a lot but a little
All of these were amazing but Robin William’s really stands out. He was such an amazing actor. He could play any role
I agree with you, btw, most of Robin Williams scenes in that movie were improved.
Yes Al Pacino's dialogue in the end of The Devil's Advocate is probably one of my all-time favorites of any movie that I've ever seen. Because it's very true in a way.......
The drama builds up for two hours just to get to this 20 minute scene.
The monologues are great, but could really do without the music.
I want to watch the whole thing but can’t do it with this music. I had to stop after 29 seconds.
I love the music 🤷♀️
Have to avoid copyright laws somehow.
You know, I was gonna come here and say the same thing. I quit after a few minutes. The same damned music over and over and over again ruined this.
I came here to say EXACTLY that.
1993 written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott. ‘’True romance’’ The scene between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper. Was some of the most captivating dialogue I’ve seen to date.
You have good taste.
100% agree i just wrote that and saw this written..
That Hidden Figures scene 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
Two of the greatest monologues I can think of right off the top of my head.... Sean Penn discussing the death of his daughter in Mystic River..... And Billy Bob Thornton's opening monologue in sling blade
Bob Thornton’s on Friday night lights movie (Halftime speech )
Always was blown anyway from that speech from Scent of a Women! The acting and the dialog is some of the best out there!
Robin Williams was a great comedian but also an outstanding actor. You are sadly missed Mr Williams.
Still missing Kenneth Brannagh in Henry V, the Band of Brothers speech, one of the best.
100 percent agree !
Oh shit I just watched that and was like Tom did ok
But then I watched that version and was like Dam I ain’t even British but I’ll be just fine if the British try and retake America if they be giving speeches like this and Churchill’s we will
Fight them the only speech I think comes close to them was MLK’s k it actually is way better but he’s African American so as an African American he paced my way so yea I gotta put it first but I was like hell he’s after listening to the band of brothers speech
its good that there is this acting academy to show us how its done: The right way
Why has that sad music been added to it it’s the power is in the words not the scene, it the word we should focus on the music takes away from the words
Bro... I think you should focus on other things. Like a book maybe.
Watched the whole thing didnt hear any muaic. Maybe becausecuse i was listening to the words
Nah I'm with the OP, the music is not a part of the scene, it doesn't belong.
yes. the producer, director, audio all decide on the sound and adding your own bg music takes away from the scene.
Agree! Really disliking the music!
Never noticed the music till you mention it
The very first clip, you literally feel the energy of everyone in that room. Absolutely stunning piece.
Do you know the name of the movie in the first clip?
the scent of a woman scene is one of my favourites of all time. another good one is phillip seymour hoffman in charlie wilson's war in the office. haven't seen the other parts so not sure if it's already been show
Sir Anthony Hopkins as John Quincy Adams giving the closing argument in Amistad is easily one of, if not THE best monologue in cinematic history.
To learn that RW add libbed all the dj scenes in Good Morning Vietnam is a testimony to his greatness. Rip Robin. We need/miss you
I mean AL FREAKING PACINO.....My God. Just beyond incredible....
Nice to see Mel Gibson's Hamlet getting a little love. I'll +sub for that alone. Thanks.
Sean Penn in I Am Sam.....oh my god. This film, this moment, it’s just heartbreakingly beautiful. 🥰
:)
How can you do 3 of these and still not include James Earl Jones' Field of Dreams monologue? It should be in the top 10.
Mel Gibson surprised me with his take of Hamlet.
The play's the thing
Spencer tracy inherit the wind, Guess who's coming to dinner -spencer tracy again, Hell you could likely fill an entire one of these with his monologes, he gave tons of them.
Will Smith deserves an Oscar, the way he is able to convey sadness and happiness in both pursuit of happiness and collateral beauty is something else entirely.
Ohhh.. he finally got one..
Will Smith is a snivelling frightened bully
Will Smith is a snivelling frightened bully
This could not have aged better😂😂😂😂😂
Mel GiBSON.. HOLY HECK that man can act 🤯
An exceptionally gifted man.
Omg I'm in love with that opening scene. Must've watched it like 12 times now!
MOST POWERFUL SPEECH " HIDDEN FIGURES " BIG UP RESPECT !!!!!
AMEN TO THAT !
Nice compilations. You’re missing Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society.
This
@lovelykahlan that was Good Will Hunting
He was also really good in One Hour Photo. He can play a borderline psychotic really well.
Oh Captain! My Captain!
Pacino will always be one of the greatest actors ever!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Y'know, change comes in silence. It comes in a whimper, not a bang.
The "drama" music takes out the impact out of the speeches. If folks really need that cushion, then they ain't ready for the speeches.
9:47
Doesn't matter how many times I watch this, I'll get goosebumps and want to cry
What an amazing actress, people...
I haven't seen that movie yet. Now I definitely will
WhT movie is it?
Robin Williams owns every scene he's in
Ooo. Kevin Costner Bull Durham “I believe in...” monologue
Finally! Scent of a Woman. Thank you.
Robin Williams you will always be the greatest!
Rest in Peace
The Patch Adams Final speech should be in one of these
I remember thinking that Taraji P. Henson would be nominated for Best Actress after this scene in Hidden Figures. But it didn’t happen.
Not always a real fan of Mel Gibson but...I think that clip was his finest moment.
Pretty treacly.
Pacino in Scent of a Woman is epic.
Al Pacino in anything is epic
Eh, he often overacts.
Keep the hard work man! Truely inspiring.💕
Always here to help y’all out as much as I can 👍🏼
How in the world can you leave off Robert Shaw's USS Indianapolis speech as Quint in Jaws?
Jesse is such a great character played by the perfect person. Love the show
My god Al Pacino is amazing.
Omg, in my theater class, we need to pick a monologue and write something on it, and thank god you gave us this video 😂😂😂
Im no actor but i absolutely love these videos.
P.S. one of my favorites is Morgan Freemans last conversation with Clint Eastwood in Million Dollar Baby
Adding the music was a terrible idea. Really takes away from the dialogue.
Pull me off all the time too...really bad idea!
Major cheese
two seconds in to the second monologue I was surprised that both these seperate productions used the same music blew my mind, only to realise that it was added afterwards. Keep the original please.
+
While I appreciate the music(which is awesome), I find it a little distracting from the monologues. Just my two cents. Great compilations! You are fantastic!
Still waiting for Ellen Burstyn's monologue from "Requiem for a Dream". I'd put that as #1.
Also, honorable mention, Rambo's monologue in First Blood. "Nothing is over! [...]".
these are great! I really like watching them. I know the majority of the movies but captions of the movie titles at the beginning of the monologues would be great :)
ive always considered will smith a good comedic actor but after seeing his more serious roles i realise he is a great serious actor
IKR. I've never really been a fan, didn't watch Fresh Prince much, but that ONE scene about his Dad just floored me. I was left shaken.
All parts posted are excellent, but, I know the true music score. Is it certain movies have copyrighted scores? The Devil’s Advocate music behind Pacino’s rant is amazing. Thanks for compiling these.
Love these kind of different videos thx for these videos it really helps 😃😃
These monologues are very fun to watch and just beautiful
Bro Al Pacino in Devil's Advocate was simply unreal
I am so glad I get to watch these clips. Thanks so much. Keep them coming.
You could give many classic actors their own videos. Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Gregory Peck, Marlon Brando, Gary Cooper, Henry Fonda and so many more.
I’ve rewatched breaking bad a dozen times and any and all of Aaron Paul’s monologues hit me every time.
Love these videos!
😁👍🏼
"I believe there's a hero in all of us"
Gives me chills.. The way she delivered that line was perfect.. I don't care how young and attractive the next Aunt May is, this is the only Aunt May I'll ever recognize
"Gotta get a rope and hang me", that hits different. RIP Robin.
man at 10:15 , after she ends her monologue , i took a deep breath. That really touched me.
Al Pacino is Awesome! “There’s nothing more tragic than an amputated SOUL”…. Gotta Love this platform. Go Will Smith to truly underrated. All good stuff!
Pacino should have recieved 2 trophies for that performance. Just superb!
Which one? He's fricking awesome
