THIS is what BMX is about. So many of the other competitions stray away from the heart of BMX. I'm seeing scooter and mtb style tricks and all I want is a 360 tabletop competition inside of a competition lol which Brian Foster won. He even threw the ol' 1-footed Aitken in there for us🤙 Edit: if that '12 is 2012 it would explain a lot lol I thought it was recent initially🤷♂️
Kudos to Taj putting this together, i dont ride anymore but im a massive fan and this is right up there with Swamp Fest in awesomeness, the Florida Swampfest being more rowdy and party style VS this Texas jam having a much better street course and less chaos, and good lord faces of so many pro rideres old and new !!! .....Comparing the 2 jamz, IMO equally matched AMAZING as a BMX fan i give a huge thank you to Trey Jones and Taj both AND everybody who helps put this stuff together. when Gary Young fakied out of that icepick and the crowd roared i felt some type-a-way keep it up
Seeing footage in 4k, it's really hard to believe this is from 11 years ago! If it weren't for the bike styles, clothing styles and how young the big names look, you would think it was filmed last week. I didn't get into riding until 2017, so this is pretty awesome to see. Thanks for investing in a camera of the future back then, filming, editing and uploading this for everyone to enjoy it
Indeed, I was the guy shooting/producing that series:) This is from my camera. Navaz also helped me shoot this one, his footage is featured in the episode.
@@MavroCam do you ever talk to fudger? He seems like a pretty cool dude. I know there can be clashes in the industry though. But I feel like you guys have been around since the early 2000s or more which was my era of bmx. I love that you dudes have a wealth of knowledge and I want it be be preserved as I came from a poor family and I could only dream of being at all these contests and experiencing the sport as it was back than.
@@Ful-OGold I do talk to Fudger, we are still on good terms somehow, lol. The very reason you mention is what motivated me to photograph (and eventually film) all the things. It was very tough to get to any contests when I was growing up unless they showed up nearby. And fortunately, a few did:) Thank you, I appreciate it very much!
@@MavroCam thank you! Fudger, snake bite, dig bmx, You, anyone else I missed who have any mid school footage just so you know it does reach people that cares! Stay positive my friend.
Please never stop posting 😃
Ok! Thanks for watching:)
Dude, thank you so much for posting this awesome piece of BMX history!!
No problem. 10+ years ago and it's easy to forget. Glad you dig it.
