It really does make me sad that Conor left MMA at his peak for boxing. It stunted his growth & made him even more one-dimensional, flat-footed. Lost out on so many more fights & really did set him back in the octagon.

Conor screwed his own legacy because of greed. Yes he made UFC famous yes he is legend his “character” didn’t age well. He got what he was chasing after fight with Floyd and instead of leaving completely on to become a successful businessman or staying and training like he used to, he became alcoholic and party boy and kept going to fights to promote his whiskey against guys who actually were still active fighters full time. It's cage fighting and if you know anyone from the uk/Ireland who's about it you know that it never goes away. The kinds of wealth he received from where he was would fuck anybody up. Floyd had a big team who babied his growth. LeBron is a savage but plays in a vastly different sport. I think conor was destined for a big fall from grace with all these factors considered. Str8. To say u have no ego is str8up unrealistic though. Gotta have some ego in this game. U have to think u r the absolute shit. But to achieve the fine balance of staying humble....while thinking no one can touch u should be the goal i believe.

Facts man. It really ruined my perception of him. I can’t respect conor or want to be like him when he does that bullshit. I’m a couple more fights and press conferences away from not being a fan anymore. I really love the guy but when he does shit like this it’s not cool or respectable

This was Connor’s worst presser by faaaar kinda crazy since he’s ususally so good. Really shows how little he had in respond to being knocked out
