🔥I'm biased & missed my Brothers 50th Birthday because of attending a prebooked Show on the 12th of February here in Birmingham during the Hymns tour🎸Every Show Rocks & their albums are all such unique pieces of Art 🔥
One listen and it floods back nostalgia. It has the sounds of the transition between Silent Alarm to A Weekend In The City, pumped with the energy that fans grew up hearing. I'm excited all over again!
@@deathtrack15 it absolutely is. They’ve moved on. They’ve all made peace. You haven’t and that’s your problem. The drummer here is fine as are the new replacements, thought they’ve been working with them the last few years on the hiatus. Time to grow up and grow out of the Matt and Gordy phase
Wow ! It’s like seeing the person you fell in love with years ago again and having those floating feelings of bliss they gave you flood back, happiness.
god that chorus has been stuck in my head ever since first listen. little bit bummed out we have to wait until april for the album but hopefully its worth it
So they obviously knocked it out of the park before with this song but let's talk a second about this video. It matches the intense frantic energy of the track, has colors and visuals that tease this superb new album, and works well to highlight each band member's epic contribution. I'm so proud to have followed this band for as long as I have. It's been a hell of a journey and I can't wait to explore more of it with the four of them!!!
I don’t think I’ll ever love an album as much as I love silent alarm but you got to give Kele and the band artistic credit for always adapting, changing and reinventing the band takes guts!
This sounds like if Bloc Party walked into a dusty bar and had one chance to save their souls, they’d sell them in a heartbeat for this riff. Dirty, tight, urgent and brilliant. What a song.Xx
That absolutely blew my mind!!! Kele has always been good with the camera. Nice moves from the rest of the guys. Love Louise's hair colour. And who can ever nail a guitar riff inside a car??? So worth the wait listening to this. It's amazing! Pre-ordered my copy of your album and tickets for your tour next year. See you soon guys!
If you want the old Bloc Party back, just play their new album at 1.5x speed. Problem solved. Their rhythms are still just as good, they just don’t play nearly as fast as they used to
Silent alarm changed my fucking life when I was a teenager and made me cooler than everyone else who didn't know them. This is fucking slaying it just like that did. I am honestly impressed.
It's difficult for me to accept that Matt and Gordon are not anymore in the band... I grew up with Bloc Party and I miss them; but I have to admit this new song is amazing. I'm so happy Bloc Party is back!!!
BLOC PARTY FOREVER
Bloc Party 2.0 you mean.
@@gamma5855 nope. Bloc party
@@natechenry not without Matt and Gordon it isn't.
@@natechenry 🎵 Exactly 🎶

That riff is killer and catchy. Louise can really hang with the drums and Im seriously fucking loving it. They all sound great together
For a minute I didn't recognize Louise... She changed her hair... LookZzzz amazing... LoVe the video
🔥 Always amazing! 🔥
She's no Matt Tong
But she's Louise Bartle :D
Imagine getting your comment frickin' hearted from them. 👍👌
This is classic Bloc Party, absolutely sensational.
Exactly
Musical trends come back every once in 20 years they say. Maybe it's time to revive good old british indie disco like it's 2005 forever
yes plz
Wouldnt say indie disco more like a love child of post punk revival and dance punk
Hells yesh
Absolutely
I wish this song came out in 91 when all the major metal bands put out a shitty album.
one of the best bloc party songs in a while
🔥I'm biased & missed my Brothers 50th Birthday because of attending a prebooked Show on the 12th of February here in Birmingham during the Hymns tour🎸Every Show Rocks & their albums are all such unique pieces of Art 🔥
Not a particularly high bar to clear, unfortunately

I´m not against bands experimenting with new sounds but I missed this "first 2 albums" sound, I feel is a perfect mixture of those 2
@ONTHEFLOW you might need hearing aids then. This has their old sound.
nah,its more like Four with a little bit of Intimacy.
I hear more Four than anything else due to the heavy guitar work, but I can get how the bounciness reminds people of their earlier work in particular.
All about Louise's drumming here for me
Energy from Silent Alarm, lyricism from Intimacy, melodic like A Weekend and experimental like Four. The gang is back.
🎶 I love them how they have progressed throughout the years 🎵
Can't compare 'Let the sofa be our car / let the TV be our stars' to 'lick lick lick, lickety split' surely
You figured it out! Thanks
Ain't the gang without Matt and Gordy

I'm new to Bloc Party apart from a handful of tracks, but that description is just spot on
Vocals and instrumentals of Bloc Party will forever be timeless
God bless Kele. God bless Bloc Party.
Best chorus they’ve had in years.
The only time I'll condone the phrase 'looking like a snack'
Welcome back Bloc Party. I look forward to jumping around my living room like a lunatic to the new album in March. Much love
