What Megatron did here was genius. It’s a classic negotiation tactic. “Choose” a horrible choice to make the next seem much better. Megatron clearly thought this through.

Honestly, it's the best way to serve time. You can either hate everyone around you and be a total miserable bastard that nobody likes. Or you can have a personality and accept you're in prison and have normal conversations with people around you. I had many CO friends during my stint. Some of them are cool peeps, could've been criminals themselves, etc. Needless to say I didn't have that bad of a time. Staff didn't have issues with me and I participated just enough with other cons to look the part. Long as you show respect to everyone, you'll be okay. But be a total bitch and treat everyone like shit and you're gonna have a long stay...

I’m just imagining, like, Soundwave or one of the other more practical Decepticons carefully attempting to explain the logistics of a bank heist to Dreadbot, and the whole time he keeps interrupting them to ask “But when do I blow everything up?” In fact, in a better movie, it would be established as a consistent character trait that his teammates keep trying to plan stealthy and well-thought-out strategies for defeating the Autobots, but Dreadbot only understands things in terms of whether or not he can blow them up.

I know these characters were horribly wasted, and that this movie was garbage, but I absolutely love this scene. Seeing Megatron and the Military negotiating with their own goals in mind was really cool, and the all the introductions gave these characters personality. You know, in a series that doesn't like to do that with the Decepticons.
That’s a real weird and silly scene, but it has character! And these movies really don’t do that with the decepticons 😢

Berserker is probably just like Starscream, a traitorous asshole, but Berserker is more insane and is probably equal to Megatrons strength, which explains why Megatron didn't complain when they said "no".

Begin with something small (Mohawk), test their limits (Dreadbot), do something a little smaller (Nitro Zeus), ask for something impossible to make next "choice" look better (Berserker), then ask for the real "last one" (Onslaught).
The Megatron we got in that film is the best version ever. He proves his negotiating abilities, he got his Galvatron body restructured by Quintessa, and he shines with so much power and prestige. This is by far my favorite Megatron. The only way he could have been better would be if he kept Galvatron as his name instead of reverting to Megatron.

Megatron choices:
-Mohawk: Start with an easy one that they wouldn't have a reason to say no to to show he's reasonnable
-Dreadbot: Follow with an extremely violent to test where their limits are (he also try to intimidate them to see it that can work)
-Nitrozeus: another pretty cool one to calm the lawyers and prepare the field for his next demand
-Berserker: He doesn't want him, he's a loose canon and he knew full well they were gonna say no, he don't even argue
-Onslaught: The last one he really wanted, reason why he asked for Berserker all while saying that Berserker was his last demand, now that they refused Berserker, they have much higher chances to release his real last choice to accommodate him (classic:: ask something impossible first, then your real demand)
You know, for someone who's just handling everything with violence and intimidation, Megatron is a pretty good negotiator
To be fair, he did lead a revolution of millions in an armed conflict while utterly repressing any below him like starscream who wanted to take over. His skill in leadership after like, hundreds of years of war and preventing infighting must be good. And the decepticons probably have had to negotiate with auto bots before on things. And that’s a table without lawyers, just armed machines who hate you for killing their friends..just to be fair

These guys were such wasted potential. I thought giving Megatron his own crew was a cool spin on things, kinda gave us an inverted version of Optimus and his gang that we'd all fallen in love with. Their unique personalities and traits were entertaining, it was a bummer to see them all die so quickly.

They could of had Megatron be the true last knight (him being knighted reverting him from Galvatron back to Megatron) and have him lead the Autobots during Prime's absence. The the next film after that would of had Nemisis Prime vs Megatron.

Nitro Zeus was definitely my favorite immediately starting from that little dance he was doing
Got a good chuckle from the lawyers line at the beginning and the county limits request. Would've loved to see Megatron's reaction to that request since even Lennox had trouble keeping a straight face with it.

I don't even know how where the hostages came from to be honest. One second, they're not there and then a milli-second later, there they are. It's like they forgot to animate them flying out of Megatron or something.

Megatron had no intention of getting Berserker out. He knew they would say no so he had Onslaught set up to be his next choice.

These guys were fucking wasted so hard, i liked their introductions:
-Mohawk: Hammy, carefree, still a psycho but has the spirit.
-Dreadbot: Cruel, an asshole for the kicks, not very fond of socializing.
-Nitro Zeus: Just as upbeat as Mohawk, they're probably friends and is a sassy thug.
-Berserker: Fucking lunatic, Megatron didn't even try to argue about him.
-Onslaught: Big guy... and that's it.

I think for Megatron it works like this:
-Mohawk: starts of with an easy deal
-Dreadbot: push the limit on how much they can allow him
-Nitro Zeus: Pick a chill dude to calm down the lawyers for his next demand: Onslaught
-Berserker: Ask for something impossible, then ask for the hard one later
-Onslaught: Megatron real final demands.
if Megatron asked for Onslaught before Berserker then he would've gotten neither.

Luna Ranger Couldn't anybody come up with a better name for a transformer than 'Nitro Zeus'😂 I mean, c'mon, it's not like he was in the cartoon or anything, so why not pick something a little more similar to the others? I guess it didnt matter anyways, all 4 of these guys got killed off about 10 minutes post-introduction😒
Kind of liked Nitro Zeus, silly name aside he seemed like the most interesting of the bunch aside from Onslaught, who is a well established character as far as Decepticons go.
And that's not a good thing......
