- Sometimes you might want a portion of your timeline to play repeatedly without having to rewind over and over again. I do that just to see if the pieces in a segment all work together properly. That's really simple to do, let me show you how.

You can reset i/o points as well
This tip is a great time saver for trial & error adjustment settings- Thank You!
Cool ! Amazing to know what I don’t know yet about DR!
Same here. Constantly learning!
You’re awesome dude keep up the great work, I’m a new videographer and I’m trying to better myself and grow my skills you continue to be helpful with every new post!
☮️❤️
Alt + / can be used to play between the in and out points
Not on Mac & Linux.
The reason I try not to mention shortcuts but instead teach the functionality is that shortcuts are all different by OS
Oh, man, I had accidentally done this a few times, after I first started using it. Then, the other night I definitely could've put it to good use and couldn't remember how lol. Thank you!
Also good for exporting just a specific section of your timeline 😁
Thanks Daniel ✌️!
Perfect! Short. Sharp. Targeted. 100%!
Boom!
Very cool.
Thank you for all your DR tips brother....!!! Makes me stay enthused to become a full service editor....!!!😊
👊😎☮️
you're the man
☮️❤️
Haha wow that’s so simple! Thanks for the tip 🙏
You bet!
Wow thanks for making a video about my question so fast! Is there an easy way to clear in and out points or do we have to just set it manually from beginning (I) to the end (O)?
Alt + X (for PC) will clear all i/o points
Wow thanks, I was accidentally using it and couldn't figure out why my copied clips wouldn't be pasted at the playheads position.
now... how to Un-Do it sensei?
Click the loop button again to turn it off.
Reset in and out points for beginning and end of project or wherever you need them
@@Daniel_Batal i thought there is short cut to undo it....
slide i to start is ok but slide o to infinity is something
@@Eissen_meteor you can probably set a keybind to it in settings
@@TBerq yes. but what command do I use?
@@Eissen_meteor you can set the command in settings.
I was literally doing a edit today using I and O, how to undo those points? I am unable to undo the points
Ctrl + X
Got any videos on making a piece of stock footage into a loop?
That’s funny. I was thinking about this the other day watching a bad, jumpy loop on UA-cam.
I don’t have one but I’ll make a note of it
❤❤
Can you please tell how to disable this option?
Click Loop again
Hi
You should talk about alt+x to rénové it after it took me a couple of minutes to find how to
I did, in the pinned comment 😁
Is there any possibility why it wouldn't loop as instructed?
It just won't loop for me.
You probably missed a step.
Make sure your in the Edit page.
Make sure you set I/O points.
Make sure you have loop enabled.
Make sure you’re playing inside of the loop points (not after them)
@@Daniel_Batal just double checked, all there as instructed.
Someone had a suggestion.
I have to 'playback in to out' alongside your instructions. Which is found under the playback tab.
Apparently this is also hotkey-able, which I've done now. And it works.
I'm also on 18.1 still and apparently it works different now in later versions of DR.
Appreciate the quick response!
How do you make it stop, lol?
Read the pinned comment!
so how to turn it off?
How do you turn off a light switch?
Click it again!
(Alt + X will delete all I/O points if you want to get rid of those too)
@@Daniel_Batal thanks man ❤️❤️
how you remove it
I put that tip in the pinned comment
@@Daniel_Batal nice one bud thank You
It does not work, instead it loop from the beginning of the project.
It definitely works. You have to set your I/O points
you can use Alt + / if that doesn't work
