- Another zone preview from the upcoming World of Warcraft 8.0 Battle of Azeroth, Drustvar, is presented in 1 hour of music & ambience.
Drustvar is one of the regions within Kul Tiras, located in the southwest, south of Stormsong Valley and west of Tiragarde Sound. Drustval is a high plains territory with red forests which is ruled by the House of Waycrest. As of today, it is not know a lot of lore about this zone. In terms of music, Drustval has a very distinct melodic line, the theme composed by Glenn Stafford is called after the region: Drustval. Other name songs are unknown at the moment, they were not able to be data mined yet, but you can notice similarities in the music with Lord of the Rings music and with Darkmoon Faire (tracks composed by Neal Acree).
Images and the music are from World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth Alpha and they can dramatically change until the expansion appears.

Thank you.
Drustvar was the area I was most excited about. Witches, cults, hauntings. It stimulates my passion for creepy woods stories. Waycross Manor is my favorite dungeon.
I really like the creepy, almost Duskwood feel of this area.
Going through Drustvar with a Survival Hunter really gave me some awesome Witcher 3 vibes.
Wow, just wow. This zone and this music are amazing. I haven't felt so immediately immersed since WOTLK, this is just perfect.
Yep, like I've said in this video's comment: Glenn Stafford did a really nice job. The zone is not bad either, but I am still waiting to experience it completely once BfA comes out.
9:40 shatters me in ways I cant explain in words.
Never thought i'd hear DLC map music match the beauty of Vanilla's.
I LOVED this zone! The creepy, haunting, witchy vibe and quests. Some of the quests were chilling and downright dark (for WoW) Wish there were more zones like this to be honest.
Drustvar really gives me Fable feels and I love it
I've made the chain quest again today, the zone & music are very well matched. What can I say... really great job from Blizzard. :)
I like how Alliance and Horde zones are reflecting themselves, each faction gets one spooky zone, one capital zone with twist villain and one backyard zone that is really different from other two
Yes, they are usually trying to mirror the experience. I've been noticing that since Pandaria. They are doing their best, but there is always _personal opinion / perception._ Have you seen the remade video for this zone?
Welcome :)
Meisio
Apparently, You can't have a human kingdom without a cursed zone...
Take ti easy, we're not making a western here
As a veteran wow player, Drustvar was one of the best zones I think Blizzard has ever put together The way you land on the eastern and move over to the western side and it’s such a different world Which is so realistic when actually traveling also I’m insanely bias to the autumn aesthetic
My favorite new zone
It's interesting indeed. Can't say it's my favorite since I am so addicted to many places in WoW :)
Welcome Bumbo Bombo!
Meisio
I meant my favorite among the new zones! I'm addicted to a lot of old places too
Hehe! Okay, so we are on the same page. Did I thank you for your visit!? _Thank you!_ :D
Kind regards,
Meisio
Wow, what a beautiful zone
I can never get enough of this zone. Thank you so much!
My pleasure Katherine :-)
The first zone in WoW where I prefer not to quest at night.
Just found that you have this video! I just finished all the quests in this zone. I love this place! Creepy but also interesting. Thanks for the video!
Hey :) Thank you. It's a very old one from Alpha (music was not completed and there were no NPCs). I have new footage and hopefully soon I will release the updated video.
Soon! Thank you for the visit! :)
I wish to set up camp here.
Me too, but without the hostile NPCs. This is a scary zone once you are able to see populated with creatures. I'll remake the video once I have time of course.
Thank you for watching :)
Meisio
these are really great videos you're posting, this one's really good. I just love the music from WoW. Thx :)
it looks really nice, if i wish i was a child playing wow for the first time now, but i cant ge those feels about new zones, I just look at how nice they are but, they dont really touch me
Indeed, you need to play the actual game to make a personal connection with the zones.
How I got _hooked_ by the new WoW? I am playing with my son (who is 6 years old) the game and he enjoys certain new areas. Which later are becoming dear to me.
Thank you for makking this video dude
Happy you like it Wesley :)
And welcome back :)
Cant believe we had to fight a bunch of twigs and some old grannys lmao
jk, i enjoyed the short quick experience i had with this zone - the general idea was amusing.
They should implement these zones during hallow's end, its perfect. Zones like Silverpine Forest, Tirisfal Glades, Gilneas, Ghostlands, Duskwood and maybe even the zone around Khadgar's Tower + plaguelands maybe? idk
not everything needs to have an epic orchestral feel to it, I really prefer older zone soundtracks and a couple from WoD
To be honest, you are right. But they really started with the orchestra early. When Russell Brower joined Blizzard I guess? Or maybe since WotLK?
I don't know... but in Legion the epic orchestra is present all the time, so I guess they are continuing with that.
Salutations,
Meisio
@@Meisio the epic orchestra tracks started in Burning Crusade remember that huge orchestra once you enter helfire, or the blood elf zone, or some tracks in shadowmoon/black temple. But in BC, WOTLK, and Cata they weren't as apparent and all over the place as in Cata's patch content,MOP, WOD, and Legion
@@lordcthulhu1609 X
@@lordcthulhu1609 Nope. Listen the ost of warcraft 2
This zone is great. Loved all the questing and the general feeling this Zone had. I wish so bad we get a raid with this theme.
Best zone they have developed in a while I think.
I can't wait to get lost here! The beautiful and enchanting zones! 💜 The music is otherwordly...just wonderful! 🎶 I love the ambient sounds so much! The wolf howls, 🐺 the frogs 🐸 the birds 🐦 I'm going crazy just waiting! 😱 Can September get here any faster?! 😀💜 Thank for you sharing! 💜
Enchanted, mysterious, but mostly spooky! And I said it to Ymir as well. I am starting to doubt this will be ready in September. There is a lot of work to be done still.
Salutations,
Meisio
@@Meisio lo?
Happy Duskwood or Karazhan but in a forest
I like your comparisons :D
With NPCs, Drustvar is more spooky though :) The updated version coming soon. I hope! :D
me encanta ese toque tenebroso
nice music
Thank you! ❤
Its got a LoTR feel to this one
The choir music? (Not too experienced with LoTR music, it's the second time when this is mentioned to me, I have to do something!)
It is basically the same music as from the movies "The Ninth Gate". Watch the intro to that movies here on youtube, and you will hear for yourself.
Do you have the music from "A Lady's Fate" quest?
There is no quest music, however, what you are referring at the music at Whitegrove Chapel / Corlain.
Check out the remastered version of this video, here: ua-cam.com/video/PsLZW58kxNc/v-deo.html
If you specifically look for the Organ pieces, I have only one there. I couldn't fit them with the rest of the tracks.
Do check out the linked video, for the entire list of tracks turn on the CC / Translations or look into the video description.
Blizz art/sound team kills it every single xpac. If only the rest of the game had as much passion put into it.
after 23:55 💗💗
Good catch! Someone is paying close attention :)
Welcome to the channel and thank you for watching. My next video is about Tiragarde Sound. So stay tuned. :)

4k? lol 720p!
Hey Manuel. Nice to meet you.
Please check your Internet connection. I can confirm that the movie is in 4K. UA-cam down-scales the quality depending on your bandwidth. This is an old article and it doesn't mention 4K, but it's useful to understand how to change manually the quality of the video:
