While I agree, a lot of these places require you to do so when walking in their coaches. I toured a Prevost Vantare and shoes off was a requirement. Even the salesperson had on slippers.
The craftsmanship on these are unreal. If I was going to invest in a coach it would absolutely be a Newell. After watching Andrew steeles tour of their facility the craftsmanship and care for the customer is very visible.
I really enjoy when you go into these nerdy specific details, it's what quality is; attention to details and functionality. Different materials in the same ambient feeling colder or hotter has all to do with their thermal conductivity. A material with better thermal conductivity will feel colder; but they are actually all at the same temp, it's just how quickly they absorb your body heat. Keep up the great work
Rocks aren't actually colder they just feel colder due to heat transfer. Its the same as touching a metal table and it feels cold but its actually just heat flowing from your hand to the material faster than other materials. Rocks transfer heat quickly and acrylic transfers slowly, so even though your body is quite a bit hotter than the room temperature acrylic you don't notice it.
Newell needs to hire you as a traveling salesman... you know so many facts and are so enthusiastic about the product! I'll be in Miami today for the big car show too.
Now that was a great video, that 2019 newell you toured was fricken insane. They are so amazing how the details stand out in those coaches. You are right the fit and finish is crazy and how they engineered all of it. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
I worked in construction for around 34 years before i had to be put on disability because of my lower back but i do the same thing looking at things trying to figure out how things are built
This is one heck of a Newell coach! The walk-thru and walk-around was performed in true Stapleton42 style! All I needed was for you to fire it up and drive it off the lot…I would have been done!!
He's not dumb...I see the long term goals, relationships, and bonds about to happen with these epic coach-builders. They see a young man with the determination, drive, and attention to detail 👍 if I had this kind of money this video would have sold me on a coach.. Just saying 🤷♂️
Newell has always been cutting edge. They were making mid entry units when no one else was. I think Bluebird did a few back in the day. If you want to be in the exclusive bus club this is your ticket. I guess you have 5 or 6 major converters of Prevosts. Liberty, Marathon, Featherlite, can't think of the other 2 or 3. They are the crème da la crème. Newell is out there by itself with it's name, quality, exclusivity, and branding. Thanks for another great video.
I follow half a dozen or more RV review channels, including your bud Andrew. I know your not a RV specific channel but your extreme gear head knowledge and attention to detail brings a great perspective that the other channels can't touch on. Keep geeking out man. From one obsessive geek to another, I greatly appreciate the finer details.
I sell kitchen countertops for a living, and yes, the thermal properties of granite will make it colder to the touch. What's by the bed and on the vanity is most likely dolomite, while the kitchen looks like some sort of acrylic such as Corian. Cheers
That hinge slide for the washer and dryer was awesome i would have looked at it just the same as you did hahha that connecting rod was super cool to keep the door straight. I'll use that technique one day putting something together i'm sure.
Again I can relate so much to how u experience this stuff. Wife and I have toured dozens of old historic buildings around the US. I am always getting left behind because I'm studying the mechanical workings of the "dumb waiter" or how they wired or plumbed something!!! Those two coaches with same paint parked side x side was amazing. Re: coach paint. My Newell was built for the Steve Miller Band. Steve had three coaches built at the same time, all the same color scheme. Subsequent coaches have been the same color as well. I just repainted mine this summer and kept the colors the same as original. You would have enjoyed seeing what we did in my shop over the last 6 years. We converted the interior from 8 bunks to a more conventional MH floor plan so I had walls removed and could really appreciate the workmanship that went into it. I tried to use the exact same materials and construction techniques on the rebuild/restoration of my Newell. Hoosierdaddy
I tell you Newell could not of asked for a better man to review and show content than you my Dude!!! The things you see and point out are things that almost no one every notices let alone sees. Love your channel Bro!! Can't wait to get in some more racing!!!
Newell is the Million dollar level Coach Beautiful. Lots of stainless steel and LED lighting everywhere. Seems to be the theme on alot of new Cars and RVS alike.
Since the thermal conductivity for stone is high, the heat will move quickly through the stone and away from you, similar to how running water flows through a funnel faster than it would through a sponge. The sense of coolness that you feel happens because the heat is flowing out of your body and through the stone.
Thanks for sharing your adventures at Newell. I also look at the differences in construction and materials and wonder why this or that. I love how people change or construct things differently from other guys. Newell has some amazing material and uses for them. It's art at its best in my opinion. Love it. Keep them coming and as I said thanks. Later
@@Stapleton42 I hear ya,I like the motor home content on the channel as well as the racing, can’t wait to see when u go back to yellow belly, have a good one
1:27 When I heard that noise I knew exactly what it was, I have that same Garmin GPS unit! That’s actually old school stuff now but it works fine a lot of police use it too!
Me too. That was totally cool. Back in the seventies Latino guys with their awesome custom cars had that a lot on their roof's. I believe that they used to get their grandmother's old net curtains and use them...?
See if they can sell you the hinge and slider set up and then since you build things make it work for your rv the laundry issue seems really frustrating seems worth figuring it out
I'm totally stealing that stainless tile idea 💡. It gonna be a SWEET backsplash in my kitchen. Definitely digging on the Newell parking lot "boondocking" videos. Keep doing you brother its good stuff!!! Props from PA
I am not really a fan of blue vehicles especially, such a large vehicle but, I am absolutely in love with that blue paint scheme . . . I want it! Newell coaches are winning me back over to them. Their design is a little bit too quirky for me but, I think the blue paint has kinda' won me back over.
Mitchell, shopping for a new coach- “RGBs EVERYWHERE! This color scheme is dope af. Okay. I’ll take it. Waitsminnit- where’s my big triangle? Whaddaymean, there’s no big triangle? That’s it. No triangle, no deal. I’m out.”
Rocks being cold are definitely a thing, it has to do with the difference in heat transfer difference vs acrylic, diamond actually has has the highest heat conductivity
Rocks can be cold... I mean ask Coors, if the mountains turn blue, then the rocks must be cold... Right? Lol Awesome walk through, but that's exactly what I was thinking, you're so tall and yet there's still plenty of room. So I mean that's cool... I'm kinda fired up about multi million dollar rigs now
Man you’d be one hell of a salesman! “Damn, check out the leather, here, here, on the ceiling, the wall, the table, over here, here, here and even over here. Now check out the rgb’s here, here, here, and here. It’s even over here. But if I were you I’d add it here, and here. Not sure what this is but it’s badass!” Lmao. I’d be the same way brother. Those Newell’s are freakin awesome down to every little detail!!
Another great video Mitchell! ( Spelled your name correct this time :) Sorry about that.) With your knowledge and passion for Newell you should talk to Josh as see if there is an opportunity to do collaboration videos on how to maintain a Newell coach or how to properly use coach features. Just a thought. Keep up the great content I love seeing these rolling works of art. Stay safe and focused you are one video closer to a new coach ;). Cheers.
Slow down on your swinging the camera around and hold it in a place for a 3 or 4 secs before moving around. That way we can see the diffent aspect of the coach. But thanks for showing the coach.😃
He took his shoes off before entering this mobile palace. That's respect right there!
While I agree, a lot of these places require you to do so when walking in their coaches. I toured a Prevost Vantare and shoes off was a requirement. Even the salesperson had on slippers.
i realize I am kind of off topic but do anyone know a good site to watch newly released movies online?
@Kaison Duncan ehh I'd suggest flixportal. You can find it thru google :) -kameron
@Kameron Leighton thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it!
@Kaison Duncan No problem xD
The craftsmanship on these are unreal. If I was going to invest in a coach it would absolutely be a Newell. After watching Andrew steeles tour of their facility the craftsmanship and care for the customer is very visible.
The rock is called “Onyx”. It’s very translucent and sparkles when backlit.
I really enjoy when you go into these nerdy specific details, it's what quality is; attention to details and functionality.

Interesting. Now I feel smart for knowing that 😂
I understand trying to figure out how things are built because i worked in construction for 34 years
LOL THAT'S BEAUTIFUL LOL HOW MANY SQFT IS IT.BEAUTIFUL A LITTLE OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE LOL.
I cannot explain how satisfying it is, to see door hinges of that quality.
I'm geeking out so hard on these videos...
Thanks man. I’m glad you understand my geeking lol
That Newell coach is absolutely incredible and there’s nothing tacky about it! Those countertops are onyx and they feel cold because it’s not plastic.
0:32 When your Newell entry way has a freakin turbo blanket material when you open it. Thats bad ass!
Hahahahaha DUDE YES 😂
Rocks aren't actually colder they just feel colder due to heat transfer. Rocks transfer heat quickly and acrylic transfers slowly, so even though your body is quite a bit hotter than the room temperature acrylic you don't notice it.
These things are on another level, I can see why you decided to go for a newell after seeing these last few videos

I just left lol

The stone you’re looking at in the bathrooms and other places is onyx ... I worked on a house that had a lot of onyx... beautiful coach brother.🇺🇸🇺🇸
Now I know. Thanks for the knowledge 🤟🏻
It's like having a spool vs a open diff.
I worked in construction for around 34 years before i had to be put on disability because of my lower back but i do the same thing looking at things trying to figure out how things are built
Always thought if I won the lottery I'd by house first but you and Newell have shown me what a dumb idea that was ... I really want one of these!
The rock counters that the light shows through is quarters, so cool.
"If you dont like this, you can get outta mah face" 🤣😂🤣😂 love it

The way you go into and explain the simplest things is exactly what I do in my brain, so i appreciate you spending time on things like that
Thanks man I’m glad you appreciate my eye lol
Now you need to work them for a Demo for 2 years in exchange for exposure !!!! It could happen !!!

The stainless tile was sick
The counter tops are quartz, I have that same setup in my house and yes, mine are RGB

The under-stone illumination needs the addition of a diffuser and reflector layer to even out the source.
Everything fancy. Then washer and dryer look straight out the 70s

That is above and beyond wow! I’m guessing the stone counter tops are some kind of quartzite, nice 👍
Rocks get hot as hell in direct sunlight as well.
"stinky poop air" LMAO you gotta luv this guy! He gives it to you raw!
Laundry door is posi . Pretty sweet. I also enjoy things like that.
its a spool lmao
Love your observations and how your mind works. 💥
i use ro/di reverse osmosis deionized for saltwater fish tanks. if you want to add one you can. they have 25-1000 gpd units.

The countertop in the bathroom looks like Cristalo Quartzite. Very expensive stuff.

They like a mobile piece of art.
Do they make one with an under slide for storing a sports car underneath.
It’s not big enough lol
Lights and underglow have never been the strongest point of interest for me. What does RGB's stand for and what are they?
Red green blue. Means leds that change colors.
That was my guess but can't know for sure unless you ask. Thanks

How big is on on board water tank on those? It's pretty freaking rad that they have their own pressure washer.
