Man, good memories.....met the band at a record store....must have been 1990.....all us girlies had our hot pink nail polish on and our hair ratted out.....the local radio station had a "beach party" in the middle of a parking lot.....good times.....
Great song and great band My Dad listened to them in the 90's and when I ran across that cassette tape I listened to it because I liked their look and I was shocked I loved them.
Agree!! One of the best rock ballads EVER in my opinion.... Since I was a kid and saw this killer video it's in my top-favorite list, and believe me I heard a lot of bands, listened to a lot of records... Something in this song, something special... Killer song... Rock on people!
Oh the memories. How I remember listening to this song over and over when a new guy came into my school. Boy I had the biggest crush but never told him lol
todays radio is still like back then.playing bands that have no talent. The rebellious bands with talent that can play guitar solos and have wailin vocals still get left off the airwaves. And plus theres no melody in music today....same 3 chords..wtf!!!.but who cares ..thats what makes true metal fans..we root for the underdogs who have talent :)
Why can't people who watch videos on youtube just enjoy it! Instead of having to start debates about who ripped who off or who is a better band/singer etc. - Just enjoy this great song!
@choad1976 hollywood bubbleglam bands in the 90's were sound a-likes to PBF and not poison. some glam bands were influenced by poison, but not the bubbleglam ones really.
I have heard of these guys but never really listened to them until recently.i hope to get the album that this song comes from but it is so fucking expensive on Amazon!
Im glad David Bowie was pioneer and still is for glam rock, glam metal and sleaze rock i mean if it wasnt for him we wouldnt have motley crue, guns n roses, hanoi rocks, alice cooper (shock rock), kiss, pretty boy floyd ect...
@choad1976 many of these 90's musicians were in school when poison first came out and poison was not popular with male rocker kids then. when PBF came out, many of them kids were now young adults and the glam scene was very popular then at a mainstream level and poison was not as glam by 89'. plus musicians like to claim influence from the more underground band even though they are very similar. all of them hollywood bands then singers sound like PBF's singer and not poison's.
@lester5192 We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. PBF wasn't formed until '87. And their debut album wasn't until '89. I don't see what difference in genre you can see between "Look What The Cat Dragged In" which was released in '86 and these cats. All PBF did was combine the styles of Motley Crue and Poison. I don't know who coined the label "bubbleglam" because I haven't listened to any of this shit since the early '90's but that word alone (to me) screams early Poison. But IDK
OK this isn't metal, it isn't even GLAM. This band came out when anybody that looked good was getting signed. ADMIT IT!!!! It was towards the end when record company's didn't care how you sounded, just how you looked!!!! Trust me they were the butt of all jokes and STILL are. They'll go down in history as the world's LAMEST band ever.
Damn I wish it was the 80s again!!
This was the song my husband sang to me on our first date in 1990 and our wedding song on October 23rd 1993
These guys rocked the 80s along with Night Ranger Motley Crue Def Leppard. There whole cd kicks fucking ass.
What a great time we had with all this Glam Rock Bands!!!!
You know I still have this...on cassette (now that's not showing age there) hahaha. Love you guys still and RIP Vinnie!!!

Met the band in Atlanta in 1990 when they opened for LA Guns. All were very cool and took time to chat. Miss 'em.

so what is metal ? Metallica ?
i am pretty sure they didn't
**********
That is only your opinion, which means nothing to us. We prolly think your taste in music sucks as well. Different people, different musical tastes.
qe gay esta esto me cai!!! pro bueno admito qe....me encanta! uaua!!
prolly? That is terrible!
I am pretty sure this song was copied from Motley Crue's time for change. this song isn't really that original
only reason this band was successful was his looks lol
this video is responsible for all the lame 90's glam bubblegum rock bands in hollywood.
Good song but the chorus blows lol
